Problem Statement Research is necessary to determine

student’s interest in the intramural program at Franklin Pierce University. The results will be used to enhance interest in the intramural program.

Pierce University intramural league. Determine the level of student awareness of

intramurals on campus. Identify ways the intramural program can

improve. Determine if students would be interested in

competing against other higher-education institutions.

Methodology Nature of the Problem

Development of Survey- We developed our research objectives

- The survey was then created by the team, and reviewed by the marketing research class and Dr. Little.

- We finalized the survey and began gathering data.

Methodology (Cont.) Definition of Population

- Students of Franklin Pierce University.- 1,700 students currently attending FP University.

Sample Size- 160 Students- 80 Male , 80 female- Twenty males and females in each class standing

Methodology (Cont.) Data Collection Method

- We used a non-probability convenience sampling method - We handed out surveys at the campus center, bubble, dorms,

classrooms, and intramural events.

- Time Limitations
