Student Trainee Exchange Programme is ELSA’s legal recruitment programme. STEP connects organisations with the best law students and young legal professionals. STEP can be fully customised to your organisation’s needs and preferences.
Many of these talented interns come through ELSA’s STEP initiative. These interns offer great value, providing fresh perspectives and passion while gaining practical experience in a cutting-edge intersection of social, political and cultural ideas.

The Traineeship Specification Form (TSF) must be filled and submitted to me by 3 April 2020
You will receive the short-listed candidates by 17 May 2020
You must complete the selection and ranking of the candidates by 8 June 2020
The earliest start date for the trainees is from 13 July 2020 onwards
The Traineeship Specification Form (TSF) must be filled and submitted to us by 8 November 2019
You will receive the short-listed candidates by 22 December 2019
You must complete the selection and ranking of the candidates by 13 January 2020
The earliest start date for the trainees is from 17 February 2020 onwards.
