How the meeting works

When proposals are presented to the meeting there will often be people speaking in favour of and against themThey have a limited amount of time so the discussion is balanced

Amending a proposal

Sometimes people want to add or

remove sections from proposals…You can do this by submitting an amendment to Becca

This will be presented to everyone at the meeting who will then vote on whether or not to accept it

How voting works

When you vote, you have three choices;

Vote in favour – if you agree with the proposal

Vote against – if you disagree with the proposal

Abstain from voting – if you don’t want to vote for or against

You vote by raising your hand when asked by Becca. She will count the votes to decide whether the proposal is accepted or

rejected
