The color forecast trends for 2017 will incorporate a neutral palette

that will be anything but bland. Recent renovations throughout the

nation show a continuing trend to open up the home to a lighter

and warmer familiar space. And with the new year fast approaching,

many are considering a giving your homes a fresh new coat of paint.

Not to worry, Nash Painting has you covered! Let’s take a look at the

top color palettes, from our friends at Sherwin-Williams and Behr,

that we can expect for the 2017 year.

Sherwin-Williams:A Holistic ApproachLooking to add glamour to your living room? As

the demand for crown molding continues to

grow, many are looking to accent rooms

with a shade of color that will provide

the perfect amount of contrast

to any bright white crown

molding.

Paint color ranging from off-whites to light browns keep a room from feeling

monochromatic. These cozy colors make a room impactful without flaunting

too much color. Try colors like Casa Blanca (SW 7571) and Spatial White (SW

6259), which will offer elegance without a drastic pop of color. Acier (SW 9170)

will be a great contrast to any white crown molding and framing.

Sherwin-Williams:Earthy Tones Pinks will take over 2017, offering anyone that’s interested in jumping on the

mid-century modern trend. Light pinks with a hint of spicy reds can make small

spaces pop! The rosey shades are perfect accent colors that can add dimen-

sion with much depth. These colors are our favorites for accent walls and will

create unique focal points within any room:

Sherwin-Williams’2017 Color-of-the-YearSherwin-Williams introduced the new year by defining 2017 with it’s Poised Taupe (SW 6039).

The favorite-color makes any room feel like a sanctuary and diffuses the stresses of the world

with one glance.

Poised Taupe(SW 6039)Perfect for candle-light dinner, the soft color creates the right atmosphere and beauty while

still remaining graceful for everyday life.

“Our story of taupe is simple. Earthen brown combines with conser-

vative grey and the result is a weathered, woodsy and complex neutral

that celebrates the imperfections and authenticity of a well-lived life.”
