    Currently we need new approaches andsolutions to the demo ra hic shift towards

    an older population. Ageing is a majorsocial, economic, political anddevelopment issue for the 21st century,as the current world population of thoseaged over 60yrs will increase from 900

    million today to 2.4 billion by 2050.
