SUMMARY OF LOCATIONS

Location 1 • Light coming through the trees looked very effective

Location 1• However you could see out of the trees and the gap

between some of the trees was bigger than I was hoping. I wanted the effect of a denser forest because the song refers to being ‘lost in a forest’ so I imagined a dense forest. I couldn’t imagine being lost in this forest as a cycle path went through it and you could see out.

Location 2• It is a dead forest so seemed very eerie, I could imagine it

being a haunted forest in a ghost film which was just the effect I wanted.

Location 2 • There were less gaps between the trees than in location 1,

which creates more of a claustrophobic atmosphere which I liked.

Summary• Overall I preferred location 2 as it seemed more haunted

and eerie, which matches the feel of the song.• However Location 1 did have some points which I liked,

particularly the effect of the light coming through the trees• I am going to use location 2 as my main location but I

might use part of location 1 like the light coming through the trees.

• I can do this because the two woods are next to each other.
