How to Watch a Good Program Die Nothing kills a recreation program faster than participants who wait last minute to register. There is a point when a program must be cancelled or modified if there is insufficient registration. All programs require a high level of coordination often including facility scheduling, staffing, volunteer recruitment and purchasing of supplies.

Pickleball Ages 18+ Open to all skill levels! This program will adapt to fit the needs of anyone who shows up-from complete beginners to seasoned players. Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports and is usually played in doubles format which means each player covers around 10 feet. Come try it out! Min: 3 Fee: $8 per session Schedule: 6/8, 6/15 9-10am Register for each session individually Location: Keyes Park Tennis Courts

Tai-Chi/Qigong Foundations This class covers qigong/tai chi fundamentals of breath work, movement, posture alignment, and visualization. Consistently practicing these gentle, meditative movements improves balance, coordination, flexibility, strength and mental clarity. Safe and suitable for everyone, all movements can be modified and effectively compliment other health and wellness pursuits. Forest Bathing Ages 18+ Join Forest Therapy Guide Laura Putnam for a slow guided wander in the woods. Forest Bathing, which originated in Japan, has been proven to reduce blood pressure, increase immunity, improve focus and creativity, and is becoming increasingly popular in the US. This class is designed to open each of the senses and create space for connection and interactive experience with the forest. Part guided meditation part nature walk, this class is for everyone, regardless of fitness level. Enjoy a low impact water aerobics class that helps improve flexibility and mobility for both swimmers and non-swimmers. This class meets in the shallow end of the pool at Keyes Park. We will meet at Keyes Park Swimming Pool. Class is 12:15-12:45pm, then get dressed and enjoy lunch 1:00-1:45pm at Keyes Pavilion. Lunch & beverages will be provided. Toddler Programs

Toddler Dance Class Ages 3-5 and Parents. In our YR Dance! classes your child will learn the basics of dance styles like ballet and jazz. Your child will explore creative movement using their imagination, balance and coordination to express themselves. Combining the two makes for a great use of your child’s energy and a lot of fun! Tear Free Tummy Time

This Baby and Me group, led by a licensed and regis-tered occupational therapist, is the perfect place to meet baby’s first friend while working on tummy time and early motor milestones with your little one. This group is appropriate for babies who are not yet crawling and is open to both typically developing and developmentally delayed children. First Steps Play Group

Our older Baby and Me group, led by a licensed and registered occupational therapist, is designed for little ones that are crawling but have not yet mastered standing and walking by themselves. Connect with others while working on motor milestones and learning about your baby’s development! This group is appropriate for both typically developing and developmentally delayed children. Nature Connection Group

Ages 4-6 This group will be run by a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist with an emphasis on having fun with nature! Scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, mud pies, and more. This fun group will encourage motor skills, imagination, and social time outdoors with a developmental approach great for children of all abilities. *Parent may be required to participate with child; parent not allowed to leave child unattended at group location. Sensory play supports the growth of a variety of skills including motor skills, problem solving, cognition, language development, and social skills. Safe Sitter: Babysitter Training Course Ages 11-15. This interactive course teaches sitters the importance of their unique job responsibilities. Participants will learn how to respond in an emergency situation, how to prevent accidents, how to play and interact with children of all ages and CPR introduction! Prepare your child for increased responsibilities and money earning potential. Great for big brothers and sisters! This is a 1-day (6.5 hour) intensive training course. Please pack a lunch. Home Alone Safety Class Ages 8-11. Learn the basics of being safe when home alone for short periods of time. We’ll talk about how to answer the telephone and door, internet safety, first aid techniques, accident prevention and fire protection and more will be discussed. Youth will have a better understanding of responsibility & independence. This is an interactive class. Bring a snack and water. Each student will receive a handbook. Horsemanship Clinic

Ages 5+.Rosewood Equine is offering a hands on equine experience for children ages 5 and older. During the 4 week sessions, students will learn all aspects of horsemanship including care, feeding, handling, grooming, tacking and riding! The last class of the session will be a showcase of skills for friends and family to attend! Week 1: Meet the herd! Week 2: Saddle Up! Week 3: A horse of course! Week 4: The victory pass! Beginner Family Archery

Ages 8-104. Expect to learn the fundamentals of archery as you experience the magic sound of hitting the target. Fundamental include, form, aiming, breathe work and balloon popping. Outcomes include- increased archery skills, feeling of self empowerment, focus, and fun with family and friends. Let go of the string and stress, as you learn this ancient skill. Form and safety will be emphasized and all equipment is provided. Any personal equipment must be pre approved by the coach for safety reasons. Seacoast United Camps Our professional, dedicated, full time coaching staff will offer sessions full of fun technical challenges and game play.

Seacoast United’s Summer Field Hockey Camp Ages 6-14 Through a variety of field hockey drills, games, and development stations, you'll be able to practice all of the techniques used in the sport, such as: dribbling, passing and receiving, ball control, shooting, defensive tackling, positioning, etc. This program is open to all skill levels and players are grouped based on previous experience on the first day, to ensure that everyone receives the appropriate instruction. Seacoast United’s Grassroots Ages 3-5 Seacoast United’s Grassroots Camps are a unique opportunity for young children to get involved in the game of soccer. In each class, the main objective is to teach while having fun. The overall theme is for children to relate having fun with playing soccer and to develop the necessary skills to be a competitive player in the future. The program ranges from ages 3 to 5, and offers a unique learning experience for all involved. Each age group is appropriately challenged with specifically designed

Seacoast United’s Summer Skills Half Day Ages 6-14 Seacoast United’s Summer Skills Half Day Soccer Camps appropriately challenge in a fun learning environment. This program will focus on individual skills which are crucial to all players’ confidence with the ball. These classes will also incorporate their skill work into scrimmage play allowing all players a chance to recognize how their confidence with the ball relates to game play situations and success. Seacoast United’s Summer Skills Full Day Ages 6-14 Soccer Camps includes all the half day opportunities as well as a great opportunity to play in a variety of small sided games which allows for more touches on the ball. The afternoon will speed up your child's decision making with and without the ball. The focus throughout the afternoon will be on speed of play as well as positional awareness both offensively and defensively. Skyhawk: Mini-Hawk Camp Ages 4-6 - This multi-sport program was developed to give children a positive first step into athletics. Sports are taught in a safe, structured environment filled with encouragement and fun. Through exciting games and activities, campers explore balance, hand/eye coordination and skill development at their own pace. Participants should bring a water bottle, two snacks, sunscreen (outdoor camps) and wear appropriate athletic attire. Every child receives an award certificate, Skyhawks t-shirt and ball. Ages 5-8 .Participants will learn the fundamentals of swinging, putting, body positioning, etiquette and keeping score. The program is specifically designed for the entry-level player, simplifying instruction so that young players can make an easy and effective transition onto the golf course. All equipment provided. Participants should bring a water bottle, two snacks, sunscreen (outdoor camps) and wear appropriate athletic attire. Every child receives an award certificate and Skyhawks t-shirt. Intro to Robotics Camp Ages 7-9 Learn the basics of robotics with coding with Dot and Dash robots. Students will learn the basic coding to solve problems through fun challenges. LAX Camp Boys Ages 7-17. Join Darren Fleury for the basic fundamental skills of lacrosse. Learn the latest techniques of the game, refine skills to improve your level of play, strengthen team concepts and strategies. This program is focused on player preparation for middle and high school level of play. Program will be held rain or shine. Must bring own LAX equipment (helmet, mouth guard, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, cleats and stick). Maker’s Space Workshop Camp Ages 5-8 In this one week series, students will focus on the process of making art, not the product. Students won't all make identical crafts, but instead be invited to explore a variety of materials, while engaging in different art activities. While doing so they'll build their problem solving and collaborative skills, as well as build their confidence! Robotics Camp Ages 9-12 Learn the basics of robotics and coding with Lego EV3. Students will work collaboratively to build a program robots which will complete a series of challenges. Dance Camp Ages 4-7 In YR Dance Camp your child will learn the basics of dance styles like ballet and jazz. Using our imagination and creative movement while working on improving balance and coordination makes for great fun! Youth Tennis Camp Ages 7-9 and 10-13. Geared

toward beginner and intermediate tennis players. Students will learn the rules of the game and the fundamental skills through fun games and drills. Skills learned include: scoring, forehand and backhand shots, volleys and serving. Instructor: Andy M. Youth Instructional Basketball Camp Air Buds (Ages 7-9) Young players are introduced to game basics dribbling, passing, shooting with correct form, learning the rules and much more using a 8’ hoop to create fun and success. Space Jams (Ages 10-12) Players continue to develop basketball skills through fundamental activities, games and fun basketball challenges. This group will use a 10’ hoop. Beginner Family Archery Camp

Ages 8+ Get out into the fresh air and learn the ancient art of shooting an arrow while you feel the wind at your back. Archery is a sport that's been around for thousands of years. So be like a Knight of the old and learn the hand eye coordination of pulling a string back and hitting different targets, such as a rope, balloons and much more. And learn how the Bow and Arrow functions, still very much the same over the thousand of years. Form and safety will be emphasized. All equipment is provided. Any personal equipment must be pre approved by the coach for safety reasons. Equipment sales are offered. Swim Like a Fish

Ages 6mos.-3yrs. Parent and child swim lessons are designed to introduce children to the water at an early age. Little ones will increase their comfort in the water through fun activities, singing, games and basic swim instruction. Aqua Animals Swim Lessons Ages 3-5. This program will teach young swimmers many different swimming and water safety skills and is taught without the parent in the water. Must be able to stand in shallow end of pool. Keyes Pool Youth Swim Lessons Ages 5 and up. Our swim lesson program helps children feel comforta-ble in the water, and as they progress, learn new strokes and learn to dive. Safety skills appropriate for each age level are taught during the lessons. Our instructors make the lessons fun and positive so that the kids feel proud of their accomplishments. The Pool Manager re-serves the right to transfer students to proper class lev-el, we would be happy to assist you in choosing the right level for your child. Each two week session consists of 8 classes, 30 minutes each. Swim Team Prep Ages 5 and up This new program is designed for those individuals who have an interest in competitive swimming. The class will work on refining the four competitive strokes, as well as starts, turns and finishes for each of the four strokes. Participants must be able to perform freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. Swim Team participation not required. Milford Keyes Swim Team

Ages 4-19. Milford Keyes Swim Team is open to swimmers of all abilities. The recreation swim team program offers swimmers the opportunity to advance their skills in strokes, improve endurance in the water and meet new friends. Milford Keyes Swim Team is a part of the Granite State Swim Association.

Senior Water Fitness

Seniors. Low impact water aerobics helps improve flexibility and mobility for both swimmers and non-swimmers. This class meets in the shallow end of the pool. Days: Monday & Wednesday Time: 12:15 –12:45pm Fee: Res $15/NRes $25 Drop-in Fee $5.00 Session: 7/5-8/11

We are planning to offer the following pool programs this year but details of exactly what each will look like are unclear. Decisions are on hold until after May 7th when the Governor states he may relax current guidelines and issue a set of universal recommendations in regards to COVID 19. Once that information is released we will be able to hopefully move forward with
