18Findings of the ProjectMost of the Population of Injecting Drug Users is from rural areas and urban area youth is also involved in this practices.Some of them are of poor family and some of them are well stable. Some are hidden who are of good family and most of the Injecting Drug Users are of Labour class.Mostly male IDUs are here in Punjab some Female IDUs are also here in Amritsar and Gurdaspur. They are orchestra Dancers and some are involved in Sex activities.The Community leaders and Peers are the main persons to meet Injecting Drug Users as they have influence on them.

19Continue.In Punjab near about 15,000 to 20,000 Injecting Drug Users are here.Injecting Drug Users mainly use Avil, Norphin and Daijibaam drugs for injecting purpose. Some use Heroine for injecting purpose.Main reason for their movement from one place to another place is unavailability of Drugs in their place; sometime they change their place because of the fear of Police and their indulgence in Criminal activities.Main problem regarding Injecting Drug Users is it is very difficult to gather them for long time and they will not sit for more than half hour and sometime they are violent and use bad languages.

20Conclusion400 target in each district is easily available.Most of the population using injecting drugs are of low class.In IBBS the team will take Blood sample of IDUs.The Team will study the behavior of the Drug users.Mostly IDUs dont have good relation with their families.21Continue.Some Female IDU are also in Punjab in Amritsar and Gurdaspur districts.Female IDUs are Sex Workers and Orchestra Dancers.It is difficult to take IDUs blood sample.About half of Population is hidden in Punjab who are using injecting drugs.
