About PMCC, New Delhi
Periyar Management and Computer College (PMCC) is a dynamic institution committed to achieve
excellence in all its endeavours. The college is named after the great social reformer of the twentieth
century, E.V. Ramasamy, fondly known as Thanthai Periyar.
PMCC has been set up by the Periyar Self Respect Propaganda Institution (PSRPI), a renowned trust.
The trust and its affiliates run a host of several educational institutions and has achieved landmark in
technical education, women empowerment and social development. Notable institutions run by the
trust include Periyar Maniammai University, Periyar Centenary Polytechnic College, Periyar
Teacher’s Training Institute and Periyar college of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
PMCC Delhi is functioning in a modern campus surrounded by lush green environment in a 5,950
Sq.m of built up area. The library consists of 1200 titles, 2400 volumes, 18 national & international
journals and 7539 e-journals. The bi-annual magazine “Conscientia” is published to show-case
talents of students and various events organized by the college. The computer centre is equipped with
state of the art server & clients with a dedicated leased line Internet facility. A centrally air-
conditioned seminar hall boasts of accommodating 200 audiences for conducting various events
organised by the college.
The placement cell is managed by experience staff to facilitate students in recruitment for summer
internship and placements. The team regularly organizes guest lectures, industrial visits, and
workshops on soft-skills and employability skills to make students ready for industry requirements.

research in emerging business areas with a teacher-student ratio 1:15. The teaching-learning pedagogy used

Summer Internship Process
The duration of summer training is of 8-10 weeks (June-July 2014). The summary of
student profiles is provided in the succeeding pages to assist the organisations to match
internship profiles. The companies are requested to engage students in rigorous training
evaluate students as per evaluation form given at the end of brochure and issue certificate
on successful completion of Internship. Our faculty as internal guides will facilitate
students in preparing summer internship reports. We are pleased to welcome organizations interested to recruit students for Summer Internship through on-campus / off-campus process.
