• Robotics is the study of robots.
• Robotics is the creation of machines that performs tasks instead of humans beings.
• Robotics is the branch of technology that deals with the design, construction and application of robots.

Embedded systems are the micro-processor/micro-controller based computing/control systems which are designed to perform a specific task.
Hence embedded system engineers are to design a special purpose system with the provided constraints.
