On November 2 at 4 PM, attend our regular Bird Club Meeting. After the program, and

presentation of all candidates, raise your hand to vote for 2017 Club officers.

As the colorful autumn hues alter our perceptions of the seasons, we appreciate the excitement that comes with change. We are so grateful to our president, Noah Rosenstein, for his cheerful, warm and easy-going leadership of our Club over the past years. From everybody, Noah, we say “Well done!” We thank Dave Davis for his spectacular “reign” as VP and program chair -- great job! We give special thanks to Mary Helen Rosenstein, who has given us years of dedicated, skilled leadership in so many categories. As we look to the proposed 2017 slate of officers at our Nov. 2 Business Meeting, we will also entertain nominations from the floor if additional folks wish to be considered!

Autumn Will Bring Migrations/Changes to Our Board

2017 Sun City Bird Club MembershipBRING THIS FORM TO THE CLUB MEETING ON NOVEMBER 2 AT 4 PM

Attach your check to the form, please. We can’t accept cash.

Colorful Evening Grosbeaks blend so effortlessly with the festive feeder.

Keeping your feeders up has no influence on whether a bird will start its journey south. A number of factors trigger the urge for birds to migrate, and the most significant one is day length. As days grow shorter in late summer, birds get restless and start to head south, taking advantage of abundant natural food, and feeders where available, to fuel their flight. (Cornell Lab, All About Birds, April 1, 2009)

Your dues covers your membership through December 31, 2017

We do not accept cash. Please make checks payable to “Sun City Bird Club”Attach this form to your check. You can hand in this form with check at our Nov. 2 meeting or mail to: Ed Raney, 8 Wisteria Lane, Bluffton, SC 29909
