PIVOTAL PLAYERS PART TWO VIDEO DISCUSSION Our Thursday morning Pivotal Players series returns with season 2 on Thursday, Jan. 7th at 8:45am (following daily Mass) in Fr. Edwards Hall. This series created by Bishop Robert Barron follows some of the most influential leaders of the Church.

Seriously this series was so good we wanted to come back for more! Each episode stands alone (so you can join for one or all).

Get excited: season two includes St. Augustine, St. Benedict, Fulton Sheen, Flannery O’Connor, Bartolome de las Casas, and St. Ignatius of Loyola. Jan. 7th begins with St. Augustine of Hippo.

If you would be interested in hosting the series in your home, or at a time more conducive to your schedule, contact Jen Ryan. We’d be delighted to help you get started with leading a small group.

NAMING & COMMENDATION RITE Developed by the Archdiocese of St. Louis Respect Life Apostolate, the Naming & Commendation prayer service is designed to meet the needs of families whose child died before birth for any reason, whether due to miscarriage, accident, still birth, or abortion. All are welcome despite religious background, or whether the loss was recent or long ago. Naming & Commendation will start right after the 8 a.m. Mass on Saturday, January 9 at Christ, Prince of Peace in Manchester, with an opportunity to name the child, bring peaceful closure to great loss, and allow each family to unite with our merciful God. To RSVP or for more information about the event, please contact Susan Nowak at 636.394.0272 or [email protected] and Val Krygiel at 636.391.6289 or [email protected].
