• High Pressure laminate- The layer of laminate is adhered to the substrate under pressures of 1,000 to 1,500 psi and temperatures of 280 to 320 degrees Fahrenheit using adhesives.

Process-

• Low Pressure Laminate- The layer of laminate is adhered to the substrate under pressures between 290 to 435 psi at temperatures of 335 to 375 degrees Fahrenheit with no adhesives

Process-

• Compact Laminate- It is essentially very thick HPL, up to and exceeding half-an-inch.

• Extra layers of phenolic resin-saturated Kraft paper in the core gives it its thickness and strength.

• They are self-supporting and very strong, and has long been used as lab tabletops, bathroom stall dividers and for bullet-proof panels.
