SVEA addresses the collaboration and web 2.0 skills of teachers and trainers in both Vocational Education and Training (VET) and adult training institutions, with a special focus on personnel and organizational development.

The SVEA regional needs analysis is a result of 5 regional analyses conducted in the SVEA consortium regions. The analysis was structured in four phases:
Stakeholder mapping Desktop research Phone interviews Regional round table workshops
SVEA Platform is built using Open Atrium and has been designed to be easy-to-use and intuitive.
It is based on the typical functionalities of Web 2.0 Use the power of Drupal as a framework Platform in open source model Create and edit content in different forms

The main part of the SVEA platform is represented by the group space where a user can access all the available functionalities.
The home page of the group space is a dashboard with several customizable mini widgets. They can be turned on and off and arranged to suit the individual user.
