Swaging is a tools for connecting copper pipe with other copper pipe. Actually you must weld the copper pipe after you swaging a copper pipe so the pipe will not leak when used. The function of swaging is to make a larger diameter of copper pipe so the pipe of the same size can be plugged in.

The material which is use for making swaging tool must be solid, tough, hard, rigid, smooth, noncombustible, insoluble, and opaque.

Punch ToolFirst, punch tools on the bellow there is

the drill swaging, drill swaging is shaped like a ice cream cone and the tip is pointed and consists of five drill bit . Ice cream cone fitted on the neck of the swaging.

On the top neck of punch tool there is a horizontal simple metal piece. A horizontal simple metal piece is shaped like a circular. That fits into the handle and enables rotation by the user (called roller swaging) and the function of it to rotate and pressed the drill swaging so the diameter of copper pipe is to be more larger.

The other parts of punch tool is a handle. The handle is shaped like inverted letter U with a rectangular prism on both legs. On the inner side the legs there is a slot that serves to lock position so the tools not invariable.

Clamp Tool

Second, clamp tool have two fasteners on the right and the left of the clamp. The fasteners are shaped like wings of butterfly. The fasteners is called nut butterfly.

The clamp have 6 block. The block range in size from the smallest which has a diameter of exactly 1/8 inch, to the biggest which has a diameter of exactly 6/8 inch.

This clamp has a height of approximately 2cm. It has a length of approximately 8cm. It has a width of approximately 4cm.

How to Use Swaging Tool

1. Loosen the butterfly nut and open the clamp blocks. The pipe line ready for grip, adjust the diameter of the pipe with a clamp block.

2. Pinch the pipe on the block with the size of 6 mm in height above the surface of the block clamp and tighten the butterfly nut block.

3. Lay drill swaging in the middle of the pipe diameter, rotate the roller swaging in clockwise direction , do it until the pipe is wide and the slope of pipe touch the clamps block.
