WE ARE A HEALTHY SCHOOL CANTEEN

I am pleased to announce that our school canteen

has been verified as a Healthy School Canteen and

meets the requirements of The NSW Healthy School

Canteen Strategy! Thank you to our wonderful P&C

and canteen volunteers who have carefully looked

over the items on our menu, submitted an

application to the menu check service and received

confirmation that we meet the guidelines. We were

informed of this decision late in 2019 and wanted to

wait to present the certificate at a whole school

assembly to celebrate this fantastic achievement

but unfortunately with the ongoing restrictions with

COVID we have now had to present this to

representatives of our P&C in a small group setting.

This certificate remains in place until December 2021

and ensures that all our students will be accessing the

healthiest food options when purchasing from our

school canteen. I know you will join with me in

congratulating and thanking our P&C once again for

everything they do for our school – our canteen in

particular could not run without them.

PARENT TEACHER INTERVIEWS

At Windale PS we are committed to working in partnership with our families to ensure the best learning outcomes for our students. Given this ongoing focus regardless of COVID-19, we will be holding parent teacher interviews in the week beginning Monday 24th August for all families from Preschool to Year 6. These will be held over the phone and will involve both you and your child in discussions about their achievements and where to next for the rest of the year. Interviews can be booked using the link below. This takes you to the School Interviews website where you can choose a time that is convenient for you. We look forward to connecting with as
