Client: Client is an ecommerce company developing online shopping applications for its customers across the globe.
Product and Challenge: • The customer intended to run Rewards and Loyalty programs • The customers were also complaining about the slowness of the site with increase in users and also lost
transactions • Tech infrastructure optimization • Capacity Planning Solution Offered: • Client has chosen us for evaluating the capacity of the application for its experience in effective performance
engineering and reputation in executing performance-testing projects. • Our dedicated performance test engineers and architecture team identified the core business scenarios of the
application and developed plans and scripts for the performance test and capacity benchmarking. • Architecture team identified configuration issues in Webserver, Database and system configuration, which was
impacting the performance. They also pointed to issues related to application itself, which was not optimized. • The report and suggestions was presented to network and development team, which helped them quickly fix
the issues before performance tests. • Presented them the best practices which helped customer move from their own datacenter to Amazon • We helped them configure elastic load balanced infrascturcutre to ensure smooth running of application
during spikes and holiday season. Outcome: The engagement has ensured smooth functioning of the application during various load conditions and ensured increased revenue. Product and Challenge: • Client had sold their mutual fund product to few of the reputed banking and finance companies. As a
part of the proposal, they had to meet few stringent SLA’s for acceptance of the product. Client also wanted to be confident of the product meeting future SLA’s and surpass the performane parameters.
Solution Offered:
• Our dedicated performance test engineers identified the core business transactions and SLA’s. The team developed Performance Testing scripts for the test and capacity benchmarking.
• The report suggested issues in methods and SQL that was impacting the product SLA’s. Suggestions were presented to the development team which quickly fixed issues and tests were rerun. A final report was presented which showed product meeting the deliver criteria. This
Outcome: • The engagement with us and the report helped build end customer confidence and a ebnchmark for
future releases.

Challenge: • While being engaged with large service providers, the client had issues regarding defects found by
customer rather than the internal test teams. They were using commercial tools for test automation and outcomes were not as desired.
Solution Offered: • Client employed us for our ability to understand the domain and unearth issues in process, resource and
provide solutions. • Our team of managers and functional test and automation experts worked with the client to find out
process gaps and suggest changes. • Our functional test experts provided them with framework to create effect test strategy and helped
them build Continuous Integrated and Risk based test process to effectively manage releases. • Our Automation experts are involved in creating and maintaining best of the test assets for regression

Challenge: • As a part of sharing and technology initiative, this company deployed a portal for professionals who place
a high value on technology that enables their lives, the portal is a rich source for news and analysis on technology, business, and gadget-geek culture. In the first month itself, they had million page views but something was bothering them. Quite often, the support team was spending sleepless nights due to issues in the portal, which was not letting additional users login due to high server load.
Solution Offered: • Client has chosen us for evaluating the capacity of the application for its experience in effective
performance engineering and reputation in executing performance-testing projects. • Our dedicated performance engineering team developed performance test scripts for critical business
transactions and conducted initial tests on the system • The initial findings were presented to the client with clear indication on issues in system setup, configuration
and tuning. We also provided parameters to change in webserver, database and code to improve performance and system uptime. The team also presented worst performing methods to development team to improve application code and performance.
• Client implemented changes suggested and we conducted repeated test on the system to validate the improvements.

Product and Challenge: • With competition all around, the client was releasing new versions of web and mobile product very
often. It meant that they had very less time between releases which was impacting the quality and defects were unearthed by customers impacting their brand.
• Product was developed by few at the start and documents and traceability was not avaliable. Solution Offered: • Client employed us for come up with solution that can lead them in right direction. • Our management team consulted with various teams within client and understood the process and
current development practices. The report client management included the possible gaps, the process to address it and the tools that can be implemented to make it automated. The management team quickly took corrective actions to ensure that the solution presented by us was not only deployed but also used in future by all.
• A team of dedicated automation testers developed test documents including requirements, test cases and mapped it to priority and severity. They embarked on developing automated test scripts.
• We integrated automated tests with their build system to ensure continuous integration tests were done to improve quality and ensure follow of quality criteria.

¤ Sumukha has 2 decades of experience in India and International market having a successful track record in starting business, operations, creating innovative solutions and customer management. Way back in 1995, while software testing was on papers, he was instrumental in bringing NuMega, which was a market leader in White Box test automation into India market. After NuMega’s merger with Compuware, he setup the ecosystem in India to build and manage its test automation business.
¤ During the journey, he setup many testing centers of excellence for many system integrators including the biggest five to manage onsite offshore models in India and offered its customers with ‘real value for money’ testing services by enabling them with solutions led functional & performance test automation.
¤ With success of starting many multinational businesses in India, he embarked on entrepreneurial journey of setting up Prakat, and after successfully running it for 3 years, he decided to chase his dream in software quality marketplace to keep in pace with the market trends. His ability to listen to customer problems and come out with innovative solutions and delivering it on time has been recognized by many organizations and people whom he has worked with. Sumukha is a strong business leader and a strategist who can establish business goals / plans and motivate teams to ensure organizational success.

¤ Vidya has a Master’s Degree from University of Mysore, started her professional career as a Researcher in Southwest Texas State University later to serve for the State of Texas (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality) for 5 years.
¤ Vidya took a break from her career to take care of family needs and in 2010 she joined hands with a few focused entrepreneurs and founded Prakat Solutions, Inc., a testing services organization. Although it was a fundamental shift for her in terms of career, Vidya showed grit, determination and will to play pivotal role in the success of Prakat Solutions.
¤ Vidya quickly gained insight into various aspects of starting a new business and took up the responsibility of heading Ta3s Admin, Infrastructure and HR functions. With her experience in quality certifications, she will be responsible to setup quality process and methods to ensure ISO / SEI CMM certifications at Ta3s.
Management Team ¤ Amitav is a strategic leader with 23+ years of experience in the IT industry with domain
expertise in Mobile, eCommerce, Casino Gaming, Telecom, Insurance, Healthcare, Web and Enterprise Solution areas. Extremely supportive of innovation and change. His knowledge was embellished with double Masters; Masters in Mathematics and Masters in Systems & IT from BITS Pilani, Rajasthan
¤ He has extensive experience in Onsite / offshore models and managed large/multidisciplinary teams in product companies across cross-functional teams in India, US, Malaysia, Japan, UK, Germany, France, Canada and China. An impressive communicator with strong leadership, coordination, relationship management, analytical and team management skills.
¤ Amitav’s core Competencies includes: Managing multi-million $ budgets, 450 (peak) team size. Managing all phases of Software Development (major, software testing). Building competency (skill, knowledge and mind-set) & high performance teams. Expert in Business Process Engineering, Management, Transformation and Quality Management. Successfully lead ISO/TL 9000, CMM & CMMI certification and programs in large product companies
¤ Amitav last served as Director IT/Testing for Dell’s online eCommerce space, responsible for testing entire online purchase experience (~20 $BN Revenue). He also worked as Director Engineering for Bally Technologies, managing testing of multiple Casino Gaming Software, managed diverse teams like, testing, project, program, product management, release, configuration and build management, development and technical documentations. Prior to that, he worked for Lucent Technologies, Planetasia, Aithent Technologies, etc.
Management Team ¤ A veteran in the IT industry, Gangadharaiah has over three decades of leadership
experience in the areas of technology, business development, strategy and operations. He is customer focused, and has the ability to identify and leverage varied technology elements to solve complex business challenges for his clients.
¤ Having M.Sc (Computing Science) University of Alberta, ME (Electrical Engineering) I.I.Sc Bangalore and he was associated with Wipro Technologies for about 17 years. As a key member of the Wipro’s Senior Management Team and was instrumental in building the Testing Services Business at Wipro Technologies. He has been credited with creating the “Largest Testing Service Business in the World (Source: IDC report 2010)” for Wipro Technologies.
