Motionnet® is a high speed serial communication system designed by NPM and is recognized as SEMI E155-0310 standard.Motionnet® is of both wire-saving and time-deterministic characteristics that is typical on many machine automation applications.Motionnet® system is composed of master based on G9001A and slaves based on G9002/G9205/G9103A/G9004A.With G9001A as the master device which contains 256-byte RAM for I/O control and 512-byte RAM for data communication, Motionnet® can support to control up to 64 local devices with one G9001A chip.

TPM provides both Motionnet® master and slave products. The master products include USB/PCI master boards and EasyPAC/SmartPAC controllers.The slave products include digital I/O, analog I/O, Temperature module, 1-Axis module, 4-Axis module and customized modules.TPM provides real time solutions based on WinCE and INtime in the master boards and controllers.TPM has successfully applied its controllers to a high precision dicing machine and an advanced winding machine.TPM is confident to recommend its PAC product solutions to versatile machine automation applications.

Motionnet® is a high speed serial communication system with data transfer rate at up to 20 Mbps. This technology is widely applied in factory and machinery automation industries. One Motionnet® master chip supports 64 slave devices including digital input/output, analog input/output, pulse counter, temperature and motion control modules. Through Ethernet cables, slave devices are connected in a linear topology. It reduces a lot of wiring complexity and cable cost.Motionnet® transfers 4 bytes of data in 15.1μsec for cyclic communication. The cyclic communication command is executed every clock cycle processing 4 bytes of the reserved memory spaces for specific commands. Others are transmitted in a communication frame. The data change time of a specified module for both types of commands are predictable by a simple formula. With time deterministic feature of Motionnet®, which is a very important issue for real-time application requirements provides a perfect framework for factory and machinery automation systems.

Motionnet Master TPM provides series of Motionnet system wide devices. PAC (Programmable Automation Controller) series offer users perfect solutions on industrial and automation control system according to variety requirements. There are 3 types of PAC devices in production – EasyPAC (EPC), SmartPAC (SPC) and TurboPAC (TPC). Based on Motionnet technology, the PAC systems form a highly extendable, wire saving and time deterministic development environment. The delicate circuit and mechanical design contributes a compact size, fan-less cabinet and high vibration tolerant hardware circumstance. USB or PCI interfaced master devices (cards) are also provided for diagnosis or PC-based controller. USB-L111 is easily portable which makes it more convenient on testing and diagnosing Motionnet slave devices. PCI-L122-DSF has 2 Motionnet Rings and digital input/output control. PCI-M114-GL has 1 Motionnet Ring and one 4-axis motion control module.

IEC-61131-3IEC-61131 is an IEC standard for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and IEC-61131-3 is the third part of it which deals with programming languages. It defines 3 graphical and 2 textual PLC programming language standards including LD, FBD, SFC, ST and IL. These languages seamlessly and predictably cooperate with one another. Variables and outputs from a program structure can be referenced by other programs under IEC-61131-3 standard.
