    TCU-3 Command Module, Two-Way Remote Speaker/Microphone & Headset

    The TCU-3 is a new tool designed to provide CrisisNegotiation and Tactical Teams with a quick and easymeans to gather audio intelligence and communicatewhen responding to a critical incident.

    The TCU-3 is delivered with a steel, ultra-rugged andweather-resistant Two-Way Remote Speaker/Microphonethat connects to the Command Module which may bethat connects to the Command Module which may bedeployed in or near the critical incident target area.

    Once deployed, operators may use the Two-Way RemoteSpeaker/Microphone to:

    - Gain immediate audio intelligence by using the device in “microphone” mode to listen for voices or sounds within it’s proximity.

    -- Communicate/negotiate with individuals occupying the target area by projecting an operator’s live voice or pre-recorded voice messages/audio through the device.

    - Project extremely loud “tone” or “wail” sounds (up to 120dB) through the device to serve as a tactical auditory distraction or warning alarm.

    Audio picked up and projected through theAudio picked up and projected through the Two-WayRemote Speaker/Microphone may also be monitored bymultiple team staff and/or recorded by connectingmonitoring headphones, speakers or voice recorders tothe TCU-3 Command Module’s various audio output jacks.
