We would like to welcome with open arms ournewest Tactical Hapkido Alliance chartermember, Instructor Richard R. Clark Jr., ownerof Tae Kwon Do Yun Moo Kwan YeonmugwanAssociation in McVeytown, Pennsylvania.

Instructor Clark has extensive martial arts

education in Tae Kwon Do, and has expanded hismartial arts education further by studying manydifferent styles throughout his career. And he iscurrently studying under Master Don Schule forweapons training in the Bong (staff) and HaidongGumdo.

His school is primarily self-defense orientated, but he has an open-mindedapproach to martial arts education (as evident on his academys website).

As he studied in other disciplines Instructor Clark has understood the secret;you will continually improve what you are practicing due to returning orreviewing basic fundamentals that are found in any martial art. And this

teaching is heavily stressed to his students in academy.

After having to leave the World Hapkido Association some time ago, hediscovered the system of Tactical Hapkido and was intrigued. Thus, aftercontacting Grandmaster Rodemaker, his excitement in re-studying Hapkidoagain was rekindled.

He is hopeful the Tactical Hapkido Alliance will be a new home for him as hecontinues to study the martial arts, feeling in a unique way that God hassomething planned for him as he trains under Grandmaster Rodemaker.

Late in September, his team has acquired anagent/lawyer specializing in Hollywood that isrepresenting the interests of the video series BESTDEFENSE to all the major movie/international TVnetworks.

Working on behalf of the Media Moguls, this agent

working diligently behind the scenes in high leveltalks with several network executives in securing aglobal TV special or video series with the TacticalHapkido Alliance to air in 2010.

While this activity is ongoing, the final shoot involving Mixed Martial Arts will be completevery soon. Next is the final editing and national commercial promotions/global pressreleases that will have exclusive footage of Grandmaster Rodemaker, Master DouglasBrown and Master Ziots representing the Tactical Hapkido Alliance.

When we get more information and contracts are secured we will inform you on what orwhich global networks will carry the Tactical Hapkido Alliance in BEST DEFENSE.

Tactical Hapkidos Video Podcast Show in the Works!Right now The Tactical Hapkido Alliance is pioneering the use of cutting edgetechnology in providing the best services and training methodologies, while at the sametime setting the standard in the Martial Arts World.

As done before in the podcast shows, these video podcasts will provide additionalinformation for all to explore. Grandmaster Rodemaker will demonstrate techniques

and answerer any questions you may have about the Tactical Hapkido System.

Unlike the YouTube Channel, these shows will be in High Definition quality shot in aprofessional studio that hosts the latest in professional film, sound, lighting, and editingsoftware systems. We are even using the latest advance technology for green screenimaging and special effects.

The first of these shows will be coming out in December this year and will alternatebetween the video and audio podcast shows.

All Membership applications can be done on-line:

The applications for individuals and schools have been automated online so that after theapplication fee is processed, that individual can now complete their membership form onliwith automatic transmission sent to Grandmaster Rodemaker for expedient processing.Individual memberships into the alliance is only $35.00 (one time fee and is a live timemembership). Charter memberships are only $80.00 initially with only a $ 25.00 yearlyrenewal fee.

The Tactical Hapkido Alliance has a special operatingmanual specially designed for Combat Servicespersonnel. This manual was made for military,intelligence, police and security personnel who haveto get the training quickly and thoroughly on top ofthe training they already received. This manualtakes all the techniques in the regular manuals(white to master series) and breaks the techniques

down to 8 main concepts. In this manual theinstructor is to teach the concept and then thestudent will apply it to a variety of situations byexamples.

My wife and I were married about a year-and-a-half ago, and thus began a perfect

storm. Not between us, I hasten to add. No, the perfect storm had to do withcombining two householdsdeciding what to keep, what not to keep; whose stuff tokeep, whose stuff to throw outwhile at the same time moving into a house with farless storage space than anywhere either of us had lived before.

Since my favorite solution to a problem like that is to put off a decision as long aspossible, we soon found our new home decorated in early box. Boxes lining thebedroom walls, boxes piled in corners in the family room; boxes everywhere youturned. It was actually very impressive, in an off-beat sort of way.

But the time has comeand I find myself sorting through all of the stuff, finally lettingsouvenirs of a lifetime go to the trash can. The process can be downright painful. But Ihave to admitgetting rid of all of the stuff is also very freeing. Now its easier to movearound, now its easier to find what is left when I need it, now life is better.

And so a thought occurs: what are the things we carry around with us all of our liveslong that seem cherished, but are really burdens? Old resentments, memories of pastfailures; dreams of what might have been, but never will bethings like that.

Maybe its time to throw away some of those things that we carry. Maybe its time tolisten to the One Who said, Behold I make all things new.

Jesus has promised us all new life in Him. He stands, waiting. Begin today!
