Mackenzie Fallt, GlobalMindED secretary, a Minnesota native,
moved to Colorado in 2010 to attend the University of Denver. She
recently graduated with honors in 2014 with a Bachelor’s in
International Studies, Psychology, and English. Recognizing the
importance of education in the lives of individuals around the
world, Mackenzie realized her passion for international issues
and human development. She was drawn to working with Global-
mindED in their drive to improve education. She is currently, an
admissions advisor at DU preparing for her masters degree in
international relations this fall.

Our Board
Remington Green, the VP of Global Minded is the CEO and
co-founder of Organic People. He formed Organic People in 2000
to bring together his extensive knowledge of Information Tech-
nology with his success in growing businesses. He is currently
the president of the Rocky Mountain chapter of the National
Association of Computer Consulting Businesses and was chosen
as part of MIT Birthing Of Giants program. He volunteers as an
advisor to the Denver Housing Authority managing low-income
housing initiatives which helps low income students prepare
for life beyond high school. He holds an MBA from Denver
University with an emphasis in Finance.
Jason Owens, President of GlobalMindED, was an El Pomar
Foundation fellow following his graduation from Colorado
College with a degree in history. He earned a masters degree
in public administration from the University of Pennsylvania,
where he was an associate consultant with the Fels Research
and Consulting Group. Jason is currently the Education
Coordinator of Children’s Hospital Colorado.
Carol Carter was a VP in corprate America before start-
ing Lifebound and Lifebound coaching. As an author and
co-author of more than 30+ books on student and career
success, Carol is an international speaker and expert in
entreprenuership, real world skills grads need, creativity,
innovation and risk. She has been a guest in more than
fi ft y countries.
Bena Kallick, member at large of GlobalMindED, is a private con-
sultant providing services to school districts, state departments of
education, professional organizations, and public agencies through-
out the world. Bena received her doctorate in educational evaluation
from Union Graduate School. She created a children’s museum based
on problem solving and invention. Additionally, she is is the co-
founder of Performance Pathways, a company dedicated to providing
easy-to-use soft ware that helps integrate and make sense of data from
curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
