There are 40 sector skill councils ( SSC ) affiliated with NSDCSSC are autonomous partnership organization that bringtogether Industry, labor and academia.

NSDC acts as a catalyst in skill development by providingfunding to enterprises, companies and organisations thatprovide skill training.

The National Occupational Standard is one of the mostsignificant contribution of NSDC to India's skillingecosystem - something that was made possible by theSSCs.


What is Occupational Standard ( OS) and Qualification Pack ( QP )?

Occupational Standard (OS) describes whatindividuals need to do, know and understand inorder to carry out a particular job role or function.A set of OS, aligned to a job role, is called Qualification Pack (QP).
