Summary:

Overall this article is an interview between Jennifer Lawrence and a celebrity

journalist Aaron Gell from Marie Claire magazine. The interview covers a

variety of different topics all revolving her personal life and her recent filming

of ‘the Hunger Games- mockingjay part 1 and 2’. The interview clearly tries to

show more about the actresses own life, her friends and how she deals with her

new found fame. I learned a lot more about the actresses personal struggle

with fame as she discussed the change in her own personality and that it has

closed her off a lot. She also spoke of the 2014 Oscars and her relationship

with fellow actor of the time Nicholas Hoult.

This is another interview, however this was from vogue magazine as Jennifer

Lawrence featured on the cover. This article follow a humorous theme, showing the

actresses comic side and her real personality. The whole article is set out in an

article style with lots of the actresses quotes used throughout supporting the

journalists piece. The interview is very long and consists of 7 hours worth of

information, all of which is largely about her own accendotes and stories which she

tells the journalist and working on X-men and the hunger games. I have learnt

much more about the actresses personality rather than a lot of factual information,

as she discussed a lot of events and things that have happened to her as well as the

films she has been in recently and how it was to film with some of the other actors.

selection of quotes used through it. Overall this article talks a lot about the

struggles that the actress has to go through due to the fame she now has, she also

that anymore and that the fame she now has changed that. She also speaks of her

most recent film of the time the interview was done ‘American Hustle’, the actors

This article was published after a ‘photo hacking scandal’ took place involving nude pictures

of her being leaked by a famous blogger Perez Hilton online. This article takes quotes from

Jennifer's first interview after the scandal broke in Vanity Fair magazine and explains what

had happened and also her reaction. I learnt that her reaction was actually very bold as she

never released an apology, instead she explained that she doesn’t need to and that she feels

‘violated’ as a result of this ‘illegal release’. Friends of hers like fellow actress Lena Dunham

also spoke up about the scandal urging people to not look at the images as this is just as much

of a crime. She also gives a positive message and informs her fans that she will not be angry

or upset anymore about this and that she is going to find ‘peace’.

in America. This interview along with it being focused around

random chit chat, it does show the actresses funny and bubbly

personality. They discuss her newest release ‘The silver linings

playbook’ in which she had to sing and this was something she

had never had to do before and The Hunger Games –

Mockingjay which she has finished filming along with the

fourth in the Hunger games series which is due to be out in

2015. However ‘mockingjay’ is due to be released November

2014 and this interview includes Jennifer Lawrence speaking of

the filming of it and also what it’s about. The actress is also

questioned on her personal life and this is the main topic of

conversation as this is a really relaxed and informal style of

interview in which she shares stories and anecdotes of her life

and recent events. This particular interview does really focus in

on her actual life rather than the films she is doing at the minute

also. She also discusses her co star Josh Hutcherson and Woody

Harrelson and also her relationship with actor Nicholas Hoult.

She then speaks of making changes in her life such as moving

house and taking a break from work linking with some of the

I would like to look at more of her interviews on this particular show as she

has been on this show many times as she promotes each of her newest films.

These types of chatty and informal interviews do show the actresses personal

life and lets the fans of the actor get to know more about them. I would then

like to search more of the actors she spoke about because she quite regularly

talks of co-actors of the movies she's making and famous friends. Another

thing I could potentially look at would be the films she's been making and the

also has a lot of information on her career and also the early

aspects of her career before she found fame, when she was in a

lot of indie movies that weren’t very popular and also how she

made it as an actress on her first TV show introducing her to the

kind of work she would be doing and what it was like as an

actress. It discusses her being made the face of Dior and

working with some of the biggest actors in Hollywood like

Christian bale and Robert De Niro. It also then talks about each

of the movies she has worked on and also the actors that she
