Decisions about Participation and Accommodations
Decisions should be based on needs of individual student (not by category or program) and based on content area.
Decisions should be made by a team which includes the student’s teacher and parent or guardian (signature req’d) in the content area being assessed.
If the student has an IEP, the IEP team should make the decision. This includes participation in CoAlt.
