Breast Awareness Month
Please wear a pink ribbon at all sport events.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In honor of this concern
Team Psych is sponsoring the Tri Teams for Ta Ta’s Competition Trophy.
This is to be awarded to the Fastest Tri Team in Tampa at the Race for the
Booty Triathlon. Any three persons or more may comprise a team. The
team with the three fastest times wins the event.
We ask for a team contribution of $25 dollars to compete for this tro-
phy. All of those dollars (100%) will go toward purchasing of breast edu-
cation materials for the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital Breast Clinic.
Yeah, these athletes are keeping their eyes on the breasts of our veterans
in the Tampa Bay. Please join us in this patriotic health care concern.

Once again Longleaf continues the
tradition of great weather, great
venue and great race. Offering a
sprint and Olympic choice to bay
area triathletes, all is there one could
want in an event.
The swim while not the most beau-
tiful beach in the world is sweetly
clean lake water, wet suit legal for a
fast one or two lap morning depend-
ing upon your preference in distance.
The bike ride is one of the sweetest
rides around. Technical capabilities
are needed to maneuver the Starkey
Park turns sandwiched by straight
rides that are guaranteed to be fast.
The run through scenic Longleaf
township is picturesque and the lo-
cals are there to cheer you on.
Congratulations to Dan Sweeney,
Race Director for keeping the tradi-
tion going. Also want to welcome
Dan and the entire Sweeney family
to the Team Psych family.
