Transmission Line Design & Engineering for HV andEHV Transmission Line

TECSOL scope of services for XXX kms of xxx kV SC/DC line engineering shall coverthe following activities:

Conducting detailed survey giving the contour of the ground at every 10 meters

distance, all details of crossings (P & T LINES, Power lines, Roads, etc) andmarking on topo sheets.

Tower schedule and tree cutting schedule as per SEB standards.

Soil resistivity along the line route.

Specifying the type of soil along the line route.

Submission of line survey report to SEB and getting their approval.

Preparation of route plan drawing with tower/ pole spotting.

Elevation drawing showing conductor contour and ground clearance. Sag-

tension calculation shall be furnished along with the drawings.

Design of poles, structures etc., comprising to SEB standards. Necessary calcu-

lations for arriving at pole design shall be furnished.

Drawing for typical support arrangement for suspension points and tangent

points.

Drawing and design of any special tower/structure required as per site require-

ments.

Design of foundation for all poles / structures.

Sketches detailing cross arm, guy sets, pole earthing, road crossings, guards,

jumping

details etc.

Accompanying Clients engineers to SEB for design clarification / approval if

required.

Preparation of drawing of termination structure at substation and load end.

Preparation of detailed bill of quantities, specifications, and data sheets.
