ABOUT STM-11
SABIC Technical Meeting (STM) makes a collaborative technology and innovation platform that has become a
prominent event representing a unique opportunity for scientists, researchers, chemists, engineers and
technical experts from SABIC world to network and build on cumulative experience. This is the 11th session of
our series of SABIC Technical Meetings which are always considered as special events in the global technical
community.
STMs have built a reputation for being a showcase of state-of-the-art technical know-how, expertise, and
creativity. STMs have been established as a forum for positive interaction and constructive debate and
discussions covering a wide range of topics.

STIM-10, which was held in 2012, has been a great success – a truly distinguished event that explored the
latest technology advancements and exchanged experience in various technical fields. That success was
obviously the result of the support provided by SABIC and affiliate management and the hard work of a group
of dedicated individuals.
The STM-11 Steering Committee lives up to the global goals of SABIC, and we are highly confident of
achieving this task as we have a wealth of professional talents to draw from, and assured by the strong
commitment of the organizing teams and the ownership and support of SABIC management.
Launching STM-11 under the theme “ Commitment to Reliability & Sustainability” will mark the 20th
anniversary of STMs since inception in 1994.The event will be a demonstration of SABIC culture of excellence
in Reliability and Sustainability where all are working to achieve further successes.

• Greetings,

• It is my pleasure to announce the launch of the 11th SABIC Technical Meeting (STM-
11). We are delighted to build on the cumulative successes of all previous STMs, thus
marking 20 years anniversary since the inception of STM-1 in 1994.

• SABIC management ownership and support to this grand event is a source of pride
and commitment by the Steering Committee to excel further. The event is officially
launched on 2nd of November 2014 at King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Cultural Center in
Al Jubail Industrial City under the theme “Commitment to Reliability & Sustainability”.
• STM-11, as a demonstration of SABIC culture of excellence in Reliability and
Sustainability, will focus on SABIC’s resolve in leading all operations with top profile
in both target key areas. The event program will include keynote speeches, technical
sessions and grand cultural nights. We target to bring live all the good aspects of
SABIC business culture where the best asset is always our people…. You.

THE EXHIBITION:
SABIC Technical Meetings (STMs) are staged every two years. 2014
will mark the 11th edition that includes the exhibition, meetings, and
networking opportunities for exhibitors and visitors.
During this three-day meeting, SABIC professionals will exchange
knowledge through a technical program featuring keynote speakers
from the organization and worldwide.
This high-profile event attracts companies and individuals from
