Religious SchoolPre-Kindergarten through Twelfth GradeTemple Emanuel Religious School is focused on building a confident Jewish community around its students. We believe that participating in Judaism is preferable to simply learning about Judaism. Our Religious School approach to Jewish education is unique in that it centers on an experiential and project-based, “camp-style” environment, where all students are actively engaged in “Living Judaism.”

For more information, contact: [email protected] or 310.409.2950.

Temple Emanuel SchoolsJewish Education for All AgesEducation is one of the pillars of our congregation. We offer outstanding, diverse programs that reflect our true commitment to lifelong learning at Temple Emanuel.

Visit tebh.org/Schools for more information on all of our schools.

Early Childhood CenterStarting at two years and two monthsOur Temple Emanuel Early Childhood Center provides children with a nurturing Jewish environment designed to stimulate curiosity, learning, and imagination. We offer a broad range of activities carefully designed for preschoolers and work closely with parents to maximize the unique potential of each child.

NAEYC Accredited

Our Early Childhood Center program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Only 8 percent of early childhood center programs nationally are NAEYC accredited.

2016-2017 Registration

Our registration for the school year of 2016-2017 is in full swing. We are currently making appointments for families to tour our center.

For more information, contact: [email protected] or 310.276.9776.

Pillar members, the “Pillars” of our temple community, annually contribute an additional amount above full dues. The Pillar program is a significant source of the temple’s support and it enables us to provide important programs and services for our members.

Our Pillar members have all the benefits of full membership and also receive a Pillar Pass with priority entrance and seating for High Holy Days, and complimentary parking. Pillar members are invited to special select events during the year as guests of Temple Emanuel, and have their names displayed in the foyer of the Corwin Family Sanctuary.

If you are interested in becoming a Pillar member and supporting Temple Emanuel in this special way, please call Julie Macht at 310.409.4635.
