Innovation Academy of Northeast Tennessee• Home Districts: Kingsport City Schools and Sullivan County Schools• Grade Levels: 6-7 with one grade level added each subsequent year (6-12)• Key Partners: Eastman Chemical, Domtar Paper, Wellmont Health Systems• Key Facts:– Begins with 160 students, will grow to approximately 550 students– 520 students applied for 160 slots first year, students chosen by lottery– Co-governance: Kingsport City Schools, Sullivan County Schools– Located in a former elementary school building, which is being modified

to add labs, technology, and collaborative workspaces in each classroom– Each student will receive a school-owned iPad– Students will travel to base schools for related arts in the afternoon
