The user flow is complex for a novice user. Data is not wellclassified as per the user mental model. Contextual help is missing. One way communication, no system user dialogue.Cluttering of information.
The most used functions are given a very low line area. Frequently used tasks (Login/Register/Products) are not prominent on homepage. User need to search for these action points. Decision assister is also hidden and notvery prominent.
On the home page, poor use of negative space makes it difficultfor visitors to interpret the main CTA's, visitor may miss them altogether.'Buy Now' and 'Compare' CTA is badly placed on description page. The tabs pattern is wrongly used. There is not much distinction betweenPrimary, secondary and tertiary call to actions. There are 3-4 states of same buttons, some with gradients, some flat, and some just with Grey ststrokes. These should be even to maintain consistent experience throughout the portal.

By just looking at the home page, the first time user will never beable to understand where to start. There is no visual hierarchyand adds to a negative 1st impression on the user. The slider is should have at least few details which can make user dive down for more information, depicting just the price won’t help.Adding trust seals, awards will also help user to build up trust with thebrand. Decision assister brand. Decision assister results are not highlighted well. The sections ‘Beware/ Help me choose/Order germ-kill/ testimonials, etc’ are not equivalent and should not be arranged together. Moreover, usercan’t even catch then at first go.
The design of the home page doesn't encourage people toexplore the site. The items on the home page are not well distincton user's key tasks. The frequent used links/menu states are hard tounderstand and discover.
SEVERITY RATING COMMENTS
Navigation
HEURISTICS
The navigation schemeis easy to find, intuitive and consistent.
5 The navigation is hard to find, i feel the labels are not mapping well withthe user’s mental model and hence difficult to interact. Moreover the interaction state is also not well defined, somewhere you see a link, someare flyout menus, making it an indecent experience. The links state andvisibility is also adding to a bad UX and may be a reason of userabandoning the page.
The navigation has sufficientflexibility to allow users tonavigate by their desired means(eg, searching, browse by type. name, most recent, etc)
5 I feel the website lack this need. There is no assisted flow, the user isproided with a very limited information based on which he may decide to explore or leave the page. Search is missing the basic functionalities like recommended search, spell check, popular, which i very importantin conversions. The flexibility and easy of use specifically in the PDP and the registration flow is very complex.
The site structure is clear, easy understood and addresses common usergoals
5 I would say there is excess unwanted space, The information isdistinct but not much so that i can make a fission, moreover, i can’t get my eye’s to the content i want to look. I guess the important section should be given some weight age through some visual treatment and the white space should be well utilized. User goal oriented CTA's and contextual help wherever required will also help in further help giving a pleasant experience.help in further help giving a pleasant experience.

Navigation
HEURISTICS
Links are clear, descriptiveand well labelled.
3 Terminology and conventions (such as link colours/buttons) are(approximately) not always consistent with general web usage
The current location isclearly indicated (eg breadcrumbhighlighted menu item)
5 Navigational feedback is provided. But menu’s are not highlited.
User can easily get back tothe homepage or relevantstart point.
5 Its hard to move between related pages and sections, sometimethere is a dead end while navigating. A classic example of this is the compare functionality on PDP which sticks on the screen evenif we move out of the PDP.

Search
HEURISTICS
A consistent, easy tofind and eat to use searchfunction is available through(where desirable).
The search facility deals well withcommon search (e.g. showingmost popular most popular results),misspellings and abbreviations.
5 The search is intuitive, but the doesn’t have basic search features. Search engine is not providing help on automatic spell checking and doesn't looks for plurals and synonyms of the searched keyword. The search engine is also not providing an option for similarity search ("more like this
The search interface is appropriate to meetuser goals (eg multi-parameter,prioritized results, filtering results)
5 Difficult to search, edit and resubmit the search. Search results page doesn't retrieve how many results where found.
SEVERITY RATING COMMENTS
Forms
HEURISTICS
Complex forms and processes are brokenup into readily understood stepsand sections. Where a process is used, a progress indicator ispresented with number or namedstages.stages.
5 Visual treatment is required.
Required and optional formfields are clear indicated. Isdata check performed
5 There is no clear distinction between "required" and "optional"fields on forms. Fields on forms doesn't contain hints, examplesor model answers to demonstrate the expected input. Forms arenot validated before the form is submitted. With data entry screens, the site doesn't perform out field-level checking and form-levelchecking at the appropriate time.
SEVERITY RATING COMMENTS
Performance
HEURISTICS
Site performance doesn’t inhibitthe user experience( eg slowpage downloads, long delays)
4 Common problem on all pages. Need to be fixed.
Errors and reliability issuesdon’t inhibits user experience.
