General Information:
Registration Fees:
Registration fee per performer in each team is RM120.00.
An official invoice will issue to participating organization/school upon registration received by
festival office.
Full payment must be made within 14 working days.
Registration closing date is 31st August 2017. Late entries may be accepted with an additional
fee of RM 300 per group, subject to organizer’s approval.

Payment Terms and Cancellation Charges
Full payment must be made to confirm participation in Festival.
Cancellation:
- 25% of total will be forfeited if cancellation is made less than 60 days prior to the festival.
- 50% of total will be forfeited if cancellation is made less than 30 days prior to the festival. - 75% of total will be forfeited if cancellation is made less than 15 days prior to the festival.
- If cancellation is made 7 days or less prior to festival, 100% of total cost will be forfeited.
Others:
1. All participating groups must comply with the “rules and regulations” of the festival.
2. All judge/assessor’s decisions will be final and no further correspondence will be entertained.
3. Organizer reserves the right to reject applicants who fail to make payment by due date.

must comprise of the minimum number of player request shown in the table below. Each musician may perform with only one of the participating team, excluding conductor.

Requirement:
1. Teams are requested to perform 2 pieces with contrasting styles. (only wind orchestra)
2. Original music score must be used.
3. Total duration includes 3 minutes of on & off. 4. Sound check are not allowed on stage. (long tone, Tuning and etc.)

C - Choir
Reporting Time:
All participating groups must report for competition 15 minutes prior to reporting time. Groups
failing to report after 15 minutes may be considered as walkover.
4 copies of the conductor score must be submitted on 1st day of festival (27th
Nov 2017) for judging
purposes. Groups are required to collect the music scores after competition.
Judging Criteria:
Adjudicators will judge the performance of groups according to the following categories.
o Sound (Intonation, Quality and Balance)
o Technique (Technique, Articulation, Ensemble, Rhythm)
o Musicality (Dynamics, Phrasing, Interpretation)
The average of total score given by adjudicators shall be the final score.
Awards:
There is no pre-determined number of Gold, Silver and Bronze awards.
Teams will be awarded according to their performance scores.
90 and above Gold with Honour
80-89 - Gold
70-79 - Silver
60-69 - Bronze

Each team can only consist between 8 members to 15 members
Each player only can participate one time in this category.
Duration of performance must not more than 10 minutes including on and off stage.
Penalty will be given to any team that above 10 minutes by deduct 1 point after each 20 second.

Judging criteria will be judge base as below:
- Sound (Intonation sound and balancing)
- Technique (style of playing and articulation)
- Musicality (Dynamic, Interpretation and ensemble playing)
AWARDS
There will no pre-determined of number of Gold, Silver and Bronze awards.
Teams will be awarded according to their performance score.
90 and above : Gold with Honour
75 - 89.99 : Gold
60 - 74.99 : Silver
40 - 59.99 ; Bronze
00 - 39,99 : COP (certificate of Participation)
