newsletter  SEPTEMBER – OCTOBER 2014 The God who multiplies! September 1st marked the start of the 8th year of the267project. Our God has been so faithful, just look at what He has done through us... I often wonder just what ‘immeasurably more’ might actually mean! If you’d have asked me 8 years ago whether we would have achieved all that is listed above, I would have laughed out loud with abundant doubt. It is a good job t hen that God’s meaning of ‘immeasurably more’ is much bigger than mine. My prayer is that God will continue to give us all we need, inspire us into new areas and use our ministry to build His kingdom and bless young people. Thank you for all you, our supporters, have done to get us this far, I pray you will be encouraged by all that we have done and choose to support us for the coming years. 156 'More?' • Thank God for a superb summer break  for the Mike, Kirstie and Zach. They had some great time away as a family and found the holiday hugelyrestful and a lot of fun

God continues to bring us together with like-minded people to share andgrow this ministry with. I want to thank God for our links with the YWAM guys in Harpenden. They have been hugely encouraging and are supporting us in awhole range of ways

• Last Saturday we had our ‘trustees away day’ where we looked at the visionfor the267project over the coming 2 years. It was a great day and God wasclearly present in the discussions and decisions

• Thank God for Penny and Alan Jones who are trustees of the project andhave recently really found their feet in the ministry and are starting to getinvolved more and more. Penny is also giving us some time each week tosupport our church connections

• Word of our ministry seems to be growing and we want to thank God forguiding us into so many places where we have been able to encourage youthand children’s work

• We have had the encouragement of somechurches employing full time workers thisterm. Michael Reynolds has started at StPaul’s and Becki Chafe at Christ Church StAlbans. Pray that they would start well and beblessed through working in the area

• We have had some real encouragementfrom youth leaders who have sensed just

how important and a blessing it is to buildand continue good working relationships.Through our FUEL events and youthworkerbreakfasts we have built a really strong andpositive network of leaders

• This month we launched our ‘GamesBoxes’, these are a free resource to youthleaders. If your church or youth groupwould like one then just get in touch andwe will get one to you

• On Thursday 25th September we are launching the ‘267 Partnership’. Wewant to share with local churches more about what the267project does and alsomake it easy for them to access our resources and activities. At the same timewe want to draw in new churches who can support our ministry and ‘partner’

with us. Everyone is welcome to come and hear about it but if you are unable tocome please do pray for us

• Please pray for FUEL Team this term. FUEL Team is our young leaders programthat is linked with our FUEL worship events. Pray for any new young people thatjoin us and that we will encourage and inspire new leaders to get involved inministry either with their home church, their school or the267project

• This term is very busy with our ‘267 Partnership’ Launch event, a fundraisingquiz night, the Lock-In at the Cathedral, ‘More?’, FUEL Team, new style TTS, FUEL

Utd and preparations for our New Years Houseparty. Please pray for rest and agood balance

• Please pray for Mike and the trustees as we discern whether it is right toemploy someone to help with the more practical aspects of the ministry.

• We are still in our wonderful office space at The Ziggurat but some of the othercharities that were given space at the same time of us have been given noticeto leave. It is still a bit ‘up in the air’ as to how long we will be here but pray forpeace about our future

• Last year we were hugely blessed with a grant to buy a van. We would love tofind someone who might donate their skills and time to service the van for us. Ifyou are a mechanic, or know a very friendly lovely one that might want to helpus, could you drop us an email. Thanks

• X-Site - This is a new initiative I am involved with that is a sort of 'Fuel' eventfor 7-11's. X-Site is a Scripture Union resource and is a high energy 'holidayclub in an afternoon' type event. Pray for the team as final preparations aremade and the event gets closer

• Pray for Mike, Sean and Tracy as they take part in the Flamstead 10k run asthey are not in tip top athletic condition.

• Please pray for our trustees as they continue to guide and support the projectwith wisdom, care and passion. Pray for Mike as he directs the ministry and forspace to discern God’s plans for the coming year. Pray also for Tracy  and herrole as Project PA, pray that she will thrive in our new office environment
