The 4 Way Test

Of all the things we think, say

or do——

Is it the TRUTH?

Is it FAIR to all concerned?

Will it build GOODWILL and

better FRIENDSHIPS?

Will it be BENEFICIAL to all

concerned?

The RC NEW MANILA

HEIGHTS HYMN

There’s a wish that we’ve been dream-

ing of.

Yes a wish to build a better world.

And we know we can change this

world again if we try to lend a hand.

REFRAIN:

The Rotary Club of New Manila

Heights is here reaching out to serve

without fear.

For service above self is what we be-

lieve a real Rotarian should live.

Let’s make friends with everyone we

meet

And bring help to everyone in need

For you will agree all these things you

see make what we call Rotary.

REFRAIN.

Let us stand and fight for what is true

And defend what’s just and what is

good

For that’s Rotary and will always be

our guide to eternity.

REFRAIN.

President’s Corner

Today, as I accept the responsi-

bilities and challenges to promote peace

through service and improve the lives in

our community, I will dedicate more of

my time, my talents, (if I have any) and my treasure, (if I have

more) to sustain and continue our signature projects in health, dis-

ease prevention, water and sanitation and literacy.

But, in order to achieve our goals, I ask your help now!

Fellow Rotarians and to the people who shared their time and

helped us all these years, I count on your support once again …..

Thank you to my Rotary Club of New Manila Heights

family for entrusting me with your vote of confidence and the for

the opportunity to lead our outstanding club to greater heights.

Special mention to my “tokayo,” Silver President Alex

Buot for a job well done!

I hope for the fulfilment of our plans and continuing pro-

jects, productive in fellowship and peace to the world through

service.

Peace be with you!

Someone once said that the reason why there is not much peace is be-

cause many people are only working for their self interests and are not

thinking of genuine service.

Thus, our theme for the year is a truly apt one — Peace through ser-

vice.

Community Singing

Let There Be Peace on Earth

Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me.

Let there be peace on earth, the peace that was meant to be.

With God as our Father, brothers all are we.

Let me walk with my brother in perfect harmony.

Let peace begin with me, let this be the moment now.

With every step I take, let this be my solemn vow.

To take each moment and live each moment in peace eternally.

Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me.

Repeat the song
