The project manager makes things happen!
The skills required for a successful project manager come from every discipline. Some are basic human skills while others are more technical. A degree in management is useful for someone who wants to go into project management as it provides a background in human resources, organizational behavior, finance, operations and information systems. Some of the skills are learned only by experiencing success and failure in managing projects.
Responabilities and duties of PM
The combination of proficiencies required to succeed as project managers include personal, management and technical skills. Here is a further breakdown of some of the skills required to properly and efficiently lead projects and teams to success:
