It’s hard to believe but this year we are celebrating the 12th Anniversary edition of The Rotary PGA!

Last year was another successful edition of this great fundraising event with over $48,000 raised, bringing the total monies generated to more than $300,000! Once again your generosity has helped support numerous Rotary projects and has had a positive impact on many lives within our community and around the world. 12th Rotary Paul Grannan Annual Golf Tournament

Mr. Paul Grannan

Family, friends, business and sporting associates of the late Paul Grannan have come together to create a lasting memorial that will benefit the community he so loved – his native Saint John.

The Paul Grannan Fund, with The Greater Saint John Community Foundation, will benefit dozens of local charities year after year with earnings from the permanently endowed fund. These are the very charities which Paul himself supported and helped with their respective campaigns over the years.

Born in 1943, Paul Grannan was the youngest son of the late Sir Richmond Louis Grannan (he was knighted by the Pope as a knight of St. Gregory for his service to church and community) and the late Elizabeth Margaret Gorman. Through his many years in the Saint John community, Paul was able to connect with countless local residents through both business and friendship.

Loved and remembered by his surviving family and friends, the Paul Grannan Annual Golf Tournament fundraiser is certainly a memorable, first-rate and fun affair.

The Venue

The newly renovated Algonquin Resort plays host to the 12th Rotary PGA this year.

It is rated the top golf coursein New Brunswick and oneof the top ten seasidecourses in North Americaby Score Golf Magazine.

The layout, which takes full advantage of its location on the shores of Passamaquoddy Bay, is full of surprises and beautiful scenery. Especially breathtaking is the oceanfront sequence of holes on the back nine.

The Algonquin Resort opens in June, 2013 after nearly a year and $24 million in renovations. The PGA will be a great way to rediscover the grandeur of the Algonquin.
