The American Autosport Association is an independent motorsport sanctioning organization that oversees the rules and regulations of the Formula America

Championships.

American Autosport Association is an organization formulated to offer more cost-

effective opportunities for drivers and teams in the world of professional auto racing.

American Autosport Association provides the Championships it sanctions, Series

and event sponsors and race tracks with general liability insurance coverage

for the race events as well as participant accident medical insurance coverage.

Our Mission

Our Mission is not to be in competition with or infringe on other existing series, but

rather to enhance all series by attracting new fans to open-wheel racing by offering a

first-class and more cost-effective, year-round opportunity to experience racing in

person. In fact, our Fall-Winter schedule runs during the months when other series are

off. Spectators become dedicated fans once they "see it, touch it, feel it". It is our goal to attract a new audience that may not initially spend the amount required to attend

other series for their first at-track experience and to provide those who are already

motorsport fans an additional venue to enjoy. Unlike television, the at-track

experience provides the high-energy atmosphere of racing, the opportunity to see the

cars and drivers up close and in person. Once a spectator becomes a fan, they will

hopefully enjoy, follow and attend not just our's, but all open-wheel racing series and

follow those races, which are not in their locale, through television

We provide all of this while offering opportunities for more drivers and teams that are

not only more affordable but offer significant financial rewards in Top Level cars, thereby attracting both established professionals and up and coming young stars of

the future.

LOW COST ADMISSION &

HELPING THOSE IN NEED

In keeping with American Autosport Association’s focus on affordable racing and to welcome as many fans as possible, spectator admission will also be kept at a very low cost. We want a family of 4 to be able to come and enjoy a full action-packed weekend of racing for under $100.

Therefore, the admission cost for each weekend will be set at $35 and that includes open paddock access. As part of our philosophy of giving back to the community, American Autosport Association will partner with local food banks in the areas of the events and ticket prices will be reduced to $25 with the gift of a non-perishable food item. $5 from every full-price admission will be donated to the local food banks. Children 14 and under are free with a ticket holding adult and Fridays are always a free day for everyone.

During the month leading up to each event, 2,500 complimentary tickets will be distributed through local stores carrying our event window posters. Admission will be free with these tickets and a gift of a non-perishable food item.

Formula America is the premier open-wheel Championship of the American Autosport

events with over $6.5 million in cash awards each season. The FA1 and FA2 Championships

feature 18 and 16 cars respectively, which are the same as those used in the former A1GP

Championships with current FIA approved updates. No open-wheel racecars outside of

Formula 1 and Indycar surpasses their performance here in America.

The Championship features six races over 6 weekends, which include pit stops for

tire changes (no refueling) like in Formula 1. Teams will be allowed a maximum number

of tires per event of both hard and soft compounds and both compounds must be

used during each race. It will be up to each team to decide their own tire strategy.

All 6 races will be broadcast with a minimum of 2 encore re-airs delivering over 54 hours of broadcast time to over 35 million households in two-hour shows. Each episode will

also be available on the internet following its premier broadcast where fans can watch

around the world at no cost.

FA1 GP DRIVER SALARIES

Unprecedented in the world of professional racing,

Formula America is providing a base salary for all 18 FA1

GP drivers signed for the full season of $50,000 per

season.

With two seasons per year (Summer & Winter), that

provides a base salary of $100,000 per year.

Formula America is providing this to ease the burden on

teams of signing qualified drivers to race their cars.

WINTER SCHEDULE

The 2020-21 Winter season will run from October through February. Due to the time of year that the Formula America Winter Championship will operate, we are relegated to running at circuits in the southern half of the country. Therefore, we have selected tracks in which to hold our six events.

Events will take place in the following months; October (1), November (1), December (1), January (1) and February (2). We will be off during the second half of November and from December 20th to January 2nd, so all drivers, teams and our crew can vacation during the holidays with their families.

Which tracks will make up the 6 event Winter schedule? The map will give you a hint of the tracks that are under consideration. The Official schedule will be announced in mid-2020.

Social Media & Public Relations

The integration of media across the various platforms is key to the promotion of the Series. The

use of FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram, You Tube and emerging platforms will be utilized

extensively to promote all of our partners. We have contracted a dedicated and professional

Social Media firm that will promote our drivers, sponsors and their participation in the Series.

On-Air ExposureEvery Formula America FA1 GP and FA2 race will be broadcast with FA1 GP races being 2-

hour broadcasts and FA2 being 1-hour broadcasts to over 35 million households, as well as

streamed on the internet at a later date where fans here at home and around the world will

be able to follow the Series on demand at no cost. With a minimum of two re-air encore

broadcasts of each episode, that equates to over 54 hours of television exposure and

promotion each season.

Page 25: The American Autosport Association is an independent ... · The FA1 and FA2 Championships feature 18 and 16 cars respectively, which are the same as those used in the former A1GP

Individual team or driver sponsorships, as well as Series sponsorships are a Win / Win proposition with

Formula America, as Formula America Winter events run across the country and are the only racing

Championships at that time of year with a captive and hungry audience.

Auto Racing fans are an extremely brand loyal group. They try, purchase and utilize products and

services of companies who sponsor the sport they enjoy.

Corporate hospitality is another avenue of business promotion at Formula America events. Entertaining

clients and/or rewarding employees in the Formula America dedicated VIP Hospitality unit is just

another sample of activities that can be easily realized with this Series.
