2:30-3:15 p.m. Wireless Health Approaches to Health Behavior Measurement and Intervention: Applications in Obesity and Other Health Conditions (Kevin Patrick, M.D., M.S.)Smartphone applications, wireless fitness devices, social media and cloud computing provide unprecedented opportunities to monitor health behaviors, provide users with real-time feedback to improve these behaviors and to promote health through engagement of friends and family. This session will describe what a systems approach means and how it can potentially be applied to obesity prevention in practice.
