Who are we?
We are a national student body Currently with branches in Brisbane and Adelaide Our members include the tertiary students, the secondary and high school students, Alumni and members of our community You can all sign up to be a member
Our aims
Knowledge our ultimate Goal Our motto speaks for all our aims and objectives and what we stand for. We are formed to promote, encourage, recognise, help, coordinate, debate, share, conference, socialise, inform,… each other, and the society at large. ‘It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.’

•Was established at the end of 2007 in Adelaide •2008 in Brisbane
Reason for Establishment
Urgent need for a national body of studentsCooperation and coordination of conferences, seminars, social and cultural issues and most importantly educational and academic issues.Promotion of tertiary educationHelping high school and secondary students havea smooth transition to tertiary studiesProviding avenues for academic debatesBuilding educational bridges between different classes of our society and much more.

Helping Each Other • Are you stressed about university life?• If you are in year twelve, do you know what are you
going to study next year? What are you going to be in the next five years.
• Do you know what ATAR is needed for the degree you are going to study?
• Do you know what is the second option for you if your ATAR is lower than the ATAR requirement of your degree?
• Do you know which scholarship is suitable for you?• University text books are quite expensive, is there any
other ways of acquiring those text books?

• AATSA was running regular tutoring sessions each Saturday in year 2009 at MDA
• Why AATSA do not run tutoring classes now? The reason AATSA stopped its tutoring classes is because a very few or no one was turning up.
• If you need the homework club reopen, please do not hesitate to contact us on ...................
Onsite HW club
• If you need help with any subject from any secondary level (9,10,11 & 12), please contact us and clarify with AATSA the subject, the year level, your questions you need help.
• Than AATSA will find you a proper person who can help you and will arrange time to meet you.
Online HW Club
• Your AATSA’s online homework club is still available for you
• Sign up & attach your question to an email for your AATSA
• Your AATSA will respond to your request as soon as possible.
• NOW YOU CANNOT MAKE ANY EXCUSES about public transport, that you are far and....just sign in and send AATSA an email
Seminars/Conferences
• AATSA is hosting a seminar every 2 months• Everyone is welcome to join us in any event• To update yourself about AATSA’s events visit

Book Club
• In order to increase our awareness beyond our understandings
• Our first book club at University of Queensland
• “Stones into Schools” by Greg Mortenson• Discussed and shared each others view about
the book.
Social Outing
• To get to know our new comer brothers and sisters from camps
• If you think its not possible for you to not bring your books along, than we are sorry IT IS A FUN GATHERING.
