It’s our favourite time of the year! Christmas will be with us before you know it which means The Berry Theatre team will be busy making beautiful theatre for Hedge End families. This year’s production is Jack, Mike Kenny’s version of the classic story about a magic beanstalk. This year you can join in the fun by helping us to make a giant beanstalk - visit our website for more information.
There’s plenty more fun to be had before Christmas, including our Hedge End Half-Term Spectacular, filled with activities to keep our little friends busy during the holiday.
It’s all getting a bit Shakespearian this autumn, with no fewer than three different versions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Propeller return to us with their abridged version for schools and young audiences; ten local schools come together to stage their own version of the popular comedy in Shakespearience; and we screen The Globe’s production alongside Macbeth and The Tempest in our Globe on Screen season.
If you want your comedy taste-buds tickled then book for Mark Steel who is back in town, or Eric and Little Ern, who visit us direct from the West End.
We hope you will join us this autumn - and we look forward to welcoming you and your families to celebrate Christmas with us!
