We thank our parishioners who attended our Confirmation celebration and rejoiced in the gift of the Holy Spirit's renewed presence in our newly confirmed members. The Holy Spirit is very much alive in our parish as witnessed by the 128 parishioners completing their initiation sacraments. We look forward to them sharing their gifts to help our parish be more enflamed with God's life.
A Pair of Hands MinistryAs you can see by the amazing work that is continuing in our parish hall, many hands can do amazing things. People of all skill levels are invited to take part in these ongoing projects. The families of Gilberto “Rick” Perez, Jose Maria Cantu, Nelda Ramos and Ermelinda Salinas request our prayers during their time of grief as we buried their loved ones last week. May the Lord receive their souls and welcome them to their eternal reward.
We thank God for the faith witness of Reynol Gonzalez and Melissa Garza who vowed their eternal love for each other in their marriage last weekend. May God help them remain faithful to this commitment to God and each other.
A Father Son Program for fathers with their 10, 11, or 12 year old sons will be held June 20 at Bishop Adolph Marx Conference Center, San Juan from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 pm. Dads are invited to reflect with their sons on what it means to be a man with Christian values, the move into manhood, and on God’s plan for the role of men in today’s world.
