A MESSAGE FROM OUR PASTOR
Dear Holy Apostles Parish Family,
Thanks to everyone for your support to make
our Teen Mission Trip to Wichita a great suc-
cess! We had 40 youth and 10 adult drivers
for a total of 50 people. It was hot, but we
learned a lot during our time there.
Last Sunday was also a great day. It was our
second year of entering a float in the Fiesta
Days Parade decorated with “We Are One
Body In Christ,” together with St. Patrick and
St. Mary parishes. It is good for the McHenry
community to see us together. Thanks to all
who worked so hard to assemble the float this
year and march in the parade. We will never
forget the hail storm. Once the storm stopped
and we reached St. Patrick’s, it was wonderful
to see all the people from the three parishes
enjoy each other. We are blessed!
Have a great week! Father Paul

We’re sharing a few moments from our amazing (and very hot!) Mission Trip week in Wichita, Kansas. Some of the
interesting people we served and got to know—Billy, 86, whose home now has a ramp that allows him to get out
with this wheelchair and Ida, 91, the matriarch of 5 generations, whose home and yard was cleared. Lots of sweat
and many inspiring people and moments in which we saw the face of God!

nuestros afectos, o inclinaciones, pasiones e instintos,
seguirlo. No necesitan hacer razonamientos, pensar,
Buscar a Jesús, encon-
trar a Jesús. Este es ell Tesoro
