Other theatre: Trek made his professional stage debut as Benjamin in Priscilla Queen of the Desert (The Princess of Wales Theatre, Toronto). Film/ TV: Series regular for two seasons of Dino Dan and most recently series lead on Dino Dan‐Trek’s Adventures (TVO/Nickelodeon Jr.), as well as Guillermo del Toro’s feature film Pacific Rim. Trek’s voice can be heard on numerous animated shows most recently completing recording Jim Henson’s series The Doozers playing the Lead role of Flex.

Drayton Entertainment: Duffy in Annie, Brigitta in The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz. Hadley first appeared on the Drayton stage at six months old, bouncing along to her favourite song at an Alan Lund Memorial Variety Show performance, and entertaining in Drayton Entertainment Travel Club cabarets since she was three. She started dancing seven years ago with the Classical Dance Conservatory in Waterloo, where she studies ballet, jazz, musical theatre and tap. Her favourite role to date was appearing along side mom and brother Lukas in Annie last year at the St. Jacobs Country Playhouse.

Drayton Entertainment debut. Although this is his first musical theatre production, Jayden has been acting since he was 6, and is an ACTRA member. Film/ TV: Muscle & Body Tylenol commercial, young Sam Foster in Nickelodeon’s hit Life with Boys, and Bobby Brackenreid in the internationally acclaimed Murdoch Mysteries. At 9 years old, Jayden is the youngest cast member in Mary Poppins, and a proud newcomer to Drayton Entertainment. Outside of acting, Jayden studies music, singing, and piano, and enjoys playing video games, building with Lego, and playing Rep Level hockey in the GTHL.

Broadway: debut in Canterbury Tales and performed with Bob Hope at Carnegie Hall and Broadway Salutes Lincoln Center. Other theatre: Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls (Stratford Festival), Theatre Aquarius, Hello Dolly (Stage West). “K.K.” was born in Southern Illinois. She moved to N.Y.C. and for 21 years performed on Broadway, Off‐Broadway, in TV commercials and tons of regional theatre. K.K. has performed for twenty‐five seasons in Brunswick, Maine. She is a former Regional opera winner in Illinois and an accomplished pianist.

In addition to his performing career, Patrick has been a Registered Massage Therapist for six years working with many professional athletes and dancers. Patrick Stiles (Neleus/ Ensemble)

Drayton Entertainment debut. Other theatre: Jen previously appeared in both the Broadway and National Touring companies of Mary Poppins. Other Broadway: ELF The Musical, and the Roundabout Theatre Company’s revival of The Apple Tree, starring Kristin Chenoweth. First National Tours: The Drowsy Chaperone, where she appeared in the roles of Janet and Kitty and served as the Dance Captain. Jen is also a certified Pilates instructor. She graduated cum laude from NYU with a Bachelor in Music. Jen is very excited to be making her Drayton Entertainment debut, and thrilled to share the stage with her husband, Mark Ledbetter.

Jen Taylor (Fannie/ Ensemble)

Drayton Entertainment: Too Many Cooks, The Sound Of Music, Perfect Wedding, See How They Run, Oliver!, Damn Yankees, Vaudeville!. Other theatre: Barefoot in the Park (Rose Theatre), All Shook Up, The Wedding Singer (Stage West). Karen spent eight seasons at the Stratford Festival and ten seasons at the Shaw Festival. She was dramatic coach for the Centre for Opera Studies in Italy. Karen is excited to be back with Drayton Entertainment in 2013.

Drayton Entertainment: She Loves Me; Me and My Girl. Other theatre: 29 productions ranging from Richard II to the musical Judy with Bristol Old Vic company; Rookery Nook (Shaftesbury Theatre, London); Me and My Girl (Adelphi Theatre). Nigel became Associate Director of Me and My Girl in 1988 going on to direct the first sell out British national tour as well as productions in Stockholm (in Swedish), Canada, Australia and New Zealand. He received Best Director nominations for the Canadian and Australian productions; Associate director of Crazy For You (Prince Edward Theatre, London) and directed the UK tour and Australian production of the show; Director for Closer Than Ever (Bergen Film, Stage and Television, Holland); UK Associate Director for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Dominion Theatre, London); Resident Director of Chicago (Adelphi Theatre), which he also directed in Buenos Aires, Mexico City and Dusseldorf. His own productions include a national tour of Stephen King’s Misery, Just For Joe (Edinburgh festival and subsequent Scottish Tour); Blue Remembered Hills (Belgrade Theatre, Coventry). He has also directed various pantomimes at Glasgow Kings Theatre, Birmingham Hippodrome and Coventry. Recent directing credits: The Producers for Susan Stroman (US tour – three years including a season at Harrah’s Casino, Atlantic City), The Wizard of Oz (Mayflower Theatre, Southampton – which subsequently toured the US for four years including a season at Madison Square Gardens, New York City). The first German speaking production of The Producers (Ronacher Theatre in Vienna Austria); Chicago (Australia, Singapore, Korea, Madrid, Barcelona, Spanish tour and Garrick Theatre, London). 2013: Susan Stroman’s Scottsboro Boys at the Young Vic Theatre in London, UK.

Nigel West (Director)

Drayton Entertainment debut. West End (selected): The Producers, Anything Goes, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Chicago, Singin’ In The Rain, Of Thee I Sing, FAME, Oklahoma!. Other theatre: Resident Director for Chicago (UK Tour), Resident Director/ Choreographer for Rock of Ages (West End), Assistant Resident Director/ Dance Captain for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (UK tour). Leigh is the Associate Choreographer of The Producers on behalf of Susan Stroman. Since 2006, she has been proud to recreate Ms. Stroman’s work for seven productions around the world. Leigh choreographed an original production of The Wizard of Oz in the UK with Director Nigel West. This show became a US National Tour for four years including a short season at Madison Square Gardens. Film/TV: Choreography and staged sequences for Hotel Lux directed by Leander Haussmann (Bavarian Pictures, German Language), Lucy in Oklahoma! directed by Sir Trevor Nunn (PrimeTime Television).

Other theatre: He has also directed shows at The Grand Theatre (London), Lighthouse Festival (Port Dover), Stage West (Mississauga), Theatre Aquarius (Hamilton), Piggery Theatre (North Hatley, Quebec), Gilbert & Sullivan Society (Waterloo & Toronto), and K‐W Musical Productions. Alex holds a Masters Degree in Arts Administration from City University in London, England, and an Honorary Doctorate from Wilfrid Laurier University for his contribution to Canadian theatre. Most recently, Alex was awarded The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for his significant contributions to the arts in Canada. He is also the recipient of the 2009 Maggie Bassett Award from Theatre Ontario, an Ontario Innovation Excellence Award, and has been recognized for his efforts by the City of Waterloo, United Way, and local and regional tourism organizations. Drayton Entertainment: Monty Python’s Spamalot, 9 To 5: The Musical, Peter Pan, Hairspray, Blood Brothers. Other theatre: Peter played bass for the Toronto productions of both Mamma Mia! (Mirvish) and Jersey Boys (Dancap). After 24 years of touring and recording with Anne Murray, Peter says he almost has “Snowbird” memorized. Peter is thrilled to be rockin’ in the pit with his musical buddies.

Drayton Entertainment: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Swing! with Howard Cable. For the past 30 years Ray Podhornik has been a commercial freelance trumpet player. His travels have taken him thru Asia to New York. He has performed with over 50 Billboard recording artists including Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole, Billy Preston, The Temptations, The O’Jays, Wayne Newton, Glass Tiger, Sam and Dave, The Drifters, Ben E. King, and The Fifth Dimension. Ray has also been involved in the studio scene doing countless jingles for TV and Radio. Ray looks forward to the performance of Mary Poppins.

Ray Podhornik (Trumpet/ Cornet/ Flugelhorn)

Drayton Entertainment: Fiddler on the Roof, Anne of Green Gables. Other theatre: CBC Television’s Over the Rainbow (2012), Wicked (2005, 2007, 2012 touring productions), West Side Story (2012 touring production). Drummer and percussionist Richard Moore earned his Master’s degree in Music from the University of Toronto. His studies their involved him in both the jazz and the orchestral programs.He also studied West African drumming and North Indian tabla. Richard is currently completing his PhD in Ethnomusicology at York University.

A graduate of the Juilliard Schoolwith a Master of Music degree, Sharon was a founding member of the internationally acclained Colorado Quartet, a member of the Canadian Opera Company orchestra, cellist of Ensemble Vivant for ten years and enjoyed eight years as principal cellistofthe Toronto Philharmonia.

Other credits: Saxophones, flutes, and woodwind specialist, Vern Dorge is a fixture on the Canadian and International music scene, featured on many live concerts, television and recordings in a variety of music genres. Vern has performed with highly acclaimed artists such as Tony Bennett, Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Roberta Flack, Gordon Lightfoot, Anne Murray, and many others. He is an active performer, composer/arranger, teacher, and studio musician. Vern is a graduate of the Humber College Music Diploma program. Currently he is leading a sextet playing Jazz, Blues, Soul, Latin, and Groove oriented music. Vern has released a solo recording entitled Soul Searchin’.
