The hypothesis stated by krashen says that the affective filter It’s an imaginary barrier that prevents the students to learn a second language
Emotional factors can make a big difference in their learning.
Motivation ,self-confidence, stress, hungry, boredom, anxiety, panic, insecurity
......etc

aware of
How can we lower the affective filters?
Creating a nurturing environment based on what is familiar to them or what they like.
Allow the students to work with others in meaningful tasks.
Don not force anyone to participate, Do not put the on the spotlight.
Have a buddy system.Have an open teacher-student relationship.Don’t assume how they feel or that its on their
head.
