GAP Prayer Stories What's Your Story? Here at EHC, we believe that God hears and answers prayers. We want to know how God is answering the prayers in your life right now OR maybe you would like to share how God answered prayers in your past. Send your prayer stories to Linda Bender at [email protected] These can be anonymous or known, but we want to share what God is doing in our church family. Thanks in advance for sharing, and we’re excited to hear how God has answered prayers!

December is here and one of the greatest event in HIS-Story is remembered and celebrated. We will study “The Advent of the

Messiah,” and look at different themes of “The Greatest Story Ever

Told” each week, and how it affected the people who were are a part of

the original Christmas. We’ll examine these principles, what they teach, and show they still hold

meaning in our modern Christmas. The weekly messages topics are: “The Advent of the Messiah”

“Therefore the Lord himself will give you a

sign: The virgin will conceive and give

birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel...”

UPCOMING @ EHC

EHC Blood Drive We have pushed back the EHC Blood Drive to January 16, 2011. We need as many as possible to plan to give, but you are only eligible to give every 8 weeks, so if you are eligible now, please

wait for our Sunday morning Blood Drive in January. Even if you are not a person who gives regularly, this is a great opportunity for all of us who give,

but sometimes forget to do so. It is also a way to be a blessing in this world to someone that you may never be able to meet. Can we count on

you to give? CLICK EHConnect to let us know.

For those who have grown up observing the “Advent Season,”

the word “Advent” has become a synonym for the Christmas season. But the word actually

means “arrival or coming.” The word “Messiah” means “Anointed One” and is synonymous with

the Greek word “Christ.” As we celebrate the arrival of the Anointed One - our Savior Jesus Christ this season, let’s make sure that we have made time and room in our lives for Him. His

advent has changed everything in our world. He alone makes possible what was declared about him at the time of His birth: “Peace on earth and goodwill toward all men!”

THE EHC SINGLES get together on DEC 26 after Sunday Worship. We will go out to eat after worship at a local restaurant. After we eat, we will go to one of our homes, have some dessert, and then watch a Christmas movie together. Please RSVP by Dec 19, and we hope every one of you will be a part of the great time together! Click EHConnect to RSVP...
