● Share res ources to centralize philos ophy and train faculty and departments on common s tandards

For centra lized proces s , work with departments on campus who work with international internships and other third party providers

Make sure a ll outs ide programs that are advertis ed by departments / centers are vetted firs t before submitting for travel approval

Ask s tudents / departments to fill out vetting checklis t upon application

Train departments on s tandards and vetting proces s through departmental meetings , HR-based tra ining programs

Work with financia l officers to ensure that no money is disbursed for non-approved programs

Create Feedback Loops for closer monitoring
