[email protected] stbeesschool.co.uk St Bees Dongguan held their very first Open Day last Sunday - and it attracted a lot of positive attention from local families. Although there is still some work to be done before it is completely finished and ready for September, over 23 prospective students and their families attended the event to see what St Bees School can offer in China. A short presentation by our China team introduced St Bees, what we stand for and, more importantly, how we can help students succeed both academically and emotionally, too - something that is unique both in China and here in the UK as well. The prospective students were able to see the new St Bees building and the new uniforms and accessories, as well as have a chat with the team to have any questions they may have answered there in person. Once the COVID-19 pandemic has subsided, our aim for a truly global education for all of our students can properly begin. We aspire to have a completely free-flowing education programme where our students from the UK and China can spend time in both schools in Dongguan and St Bees and still be able to continue the same education curriculum. This unique system will give all of the students who study at St Bees - both here in the UK and in China, too - a head start in being able to work in different countries and cultures, and will set them head and shoulders above their peers because of their global experience. The future is international, and here at St Bees, we are dedicated to preparing our students for a world in which jobs will require international travel, working with people from all corners of the globe and giving them the head start to be successful right from the start. We can’t wait to see the students arrive in Dongguan - and keep your eyes peeled for more news on both Dongguan and Shijiazhuang over the next few months!
