Space Gem Runner may begin the game with the Space Gem attached to his base by paying its point cost. This object does not count toward your object total and is scored and removed from the game when Runner is KO’d. In addition to its normal effects, modify Runner’s speed value by +1 if the Space Gem is attached. I Have to Be the Fastest Runner ignores hindering terrain for movement purposes. Modify Runner’s attack value by +2 when attacking a character with a speed value of 10 or higher.

He often pits a team of chosen champions against another chosen by a fellow cosmic being, and has done so with the Squadron Sinister, the Avengers, and the Defenders, among others. His opponents have included Kang, the Prime Mover, and even Mistress Death herself, playing for the life of his fellow elder, the Collector. While normally honest in his game playing, he’s not above cheating to win if the stakes are high enough. GENERAL RULES

ISSUE #1 (800 PTS.) ISSUE #2 (300 PTS.)

• Thanos has different dials, which are named “issues” for this They are numbered from 1 to 5. Four dials (issues 1, 2, 3, and 5) are attached to the 3x6 base. The dial for issue 4 is found on the removable Thanos Colossal In addition, Terraxia has her own separate dial.

• Pick which issues of the Gauntlet Saga you are going to play. You may play any number of issues from 1-5, but you must play them in ascending order.

• Your opponent may choose to play two different ways: A) Play a single force with a point value matching the total cost of all the chosen issues and play through them as one continuous battle or B) Treat each issue as a separate battle, and place a new, healed force of the appropriate point value into their starting area. (Example: To play through issues #1, 2, 5, you could either a 2100 point team, or have separate 800, 300, and 1000 point teams ready to face him.)

• As soon as one of two things happens, the current issue is over: Thanos KO’s all opposing characters, or the opposing characters KO Thanos on that dial. If any chosen issues remain unplayed, begin playing them according to method A) or B) as agreed to by both players. Excess damage from KOing one of Thanos’ dials is not applied to the next dial.

• For all issues except #4,Thanos stays attached to the 3x6 Colossal Base.

Exile to Soul World When Thanos takes 2 or more damage from an opposing character’s attack and possesses this power after actions resolve, you may remove that character from the map. An opposing character may be given a double power action to return the removed character to the map in a square of its owner’s choice at the beginning of the next turn, even is this power is lost. If there are no opposing characters on the map, immediately return all characters removed this way to square(s) of their owner’s choice.

My Trusted Servant When you reveal your force, you may reveal up to 3 additional characters, each of 150 points or less. After all of your opponents reveal their forces, you may choose one of those characters to add to your force.

REAL NAME: Terraxia the TerribleSIGNIFICANT APPEARANCE: The Infinity Gauntlet #3 (1991)BACKGROUND: When Mistress Death spurned him yet again, Thanos created the perfect mate for himself. Thanos created Terraxia based on his own Eternal genetics to be ruthless, yet subservient. Yet she did not serve to make Mistress Death jealous, or even notice. After Thanos powered down to take on Earth’s heroes more fairly, Terraxia joined in by decapitating Tony Stark, Iron Man, and presenting his head to her creator. Terraxia’s power was almost entirely fueled by the Infinity Gauntlet, and she died when Thanos lost it, as she did not possess the mystical or cosmic power needed to survive in deep space.
