  • Welcome to the Information AgeReal Simple Syndication (RSS) technology that allows users to stream headlines from favorite websites to a blog reader. The RSS icon (pictured below) indicates a website is RSS accessible.

  • Using RSS with Outlook

  • Find and click RSS icon on website of interest

  • Occasionally, the RSS icon will be replaced with these words, which will occur near the bottom of a page. Click the link.

  • Copy the web address for this new page

  • Go to OutlookToolsAccount Settings

  • Click on the tab RSS Feeds

  • Click the New button

  • Paste in the web address

  • Click Add, then click OK on the Options screen

  • A folder for the site should appear in the viewing pane. When the folder is bold, a new item has been posted.
