Jazz 91.9 WCLK 40th Anniversary Jazz Legacy Gala and Anniversary Concert is fast approaching and we have a very exciting evening planned for you. On Friday, May 9, Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre will be transformed with into a spectacular space of fine dining and mesmerizing Jazz.
The Jazz Legacy Gala with performances by Dianne Reeves Starts at 6:00 p.m.. Reeves is one of the foremost female Jazz vocalists in the world today. During the Jazz Legacy Gala, Jazz 91.9 WCLK will pay tribute to people and organizations that have made strides in Jazz by recognizing their efforts with the: Jazz Legacy, Jazz Preservation and Community Advocacy Awards. A delectable dinner will be served.
Each table will be dressed with two bottles of sparkling wine compliments of Korbel California Champagne.
Following the dinner party, the signature Jazz 91.9 WCLK anniversary concert will feature Jazz Great, George Benson. Benson will play all his trade mark hits, classics and news songs from his album, Inspiration.

Jazz 91.9 WCLK, will recognize the exceptional work of organizations that have made a difference in Greater Atlanta through a series of on air spotlights and engagement initiatives: WCLK Community Honors presented by Mercedes-Benz of Buckhead. In addition, Mercedes-Benz of Buckhead will make a monetary contribution to each selected organization. Organizations will be selected based on three core values: service, empowerment and merit.
In April, WCLK Community Honors spotlights the Center for Cancer Research and Therapeutic Development (CCRTD) for its efforts on prostate cancer research and awareness.
