Hello all,

Mega Swim is this coming weekend your help will be required. If you have notalready informed me of the shift you can do, please let me know ASAP.

This Saturday also sees the first time our shop in Riverside will be opening between10am and 1pm. We will be having an info stall about Rotary about the front of theshop every Saturday the shop is open, so PLEASE let me know your availabilityASAP for upcoming weekends I have already circulated an email to membersabout this.

ANZAC Day in Queanbeyan was very moving. I was honored to lay the wreath onbehalf of our club this year.

Entertainment books are selling well. As of 28/4/13, we have sold 13 copies. Besure to let everyone know that we still have plenty in stock.

Relay for Life will begin preparing again soon for 2014. If you would like to be on thecommittee, please come along to the meeting next Tuesday night at the Roos Club.

A wonderful thank you email received on 24 April 2012

Hi Natalie,

My husband is a Renal patient at Q Renal Unit. What a wonderful team of nursesare there to "sort them out"!!!

I drive Stan to and fro each Tues, Thurs and Sat am. I often sit a while and read themags etc etc.

I commented a few times on their organization. Roxanne tells me that your group isRESPONSIBLE!!!

Well, I say thank you very much, as I browse, many a time and really appreciate thework that has gone into it's organization.

I'm not sure if you did the TV/Video, but if so thank you. The nurses (and perhapsMaxine) may need a bit of help sorting out the DVD's to each chair(in writing) as itseems a bit tricky.

Rotary is Wonderful. Many years ago I was in Rotoract and loved every moment.

Cancer Council ACT is running a free seminar for people affected by cancer that will cover a range of financial and

legal matters that may be faced as a result of a cancer diagnosis.

Come and listen to experts talk about early access to superannuation, Centrelink benefits and eligibility, wills, powers

of attorney and guardianship as well as other issues commonly faced by cancer patients and their families.

Information on Cancer Council ACT's free legal and financial planning service will also be provided.
